I use the Uniden BCD996XT and BCD396XT. I had a GRE PSR-500 but I prefer the Unidens. They seem to decode the radio ID's better. I also have a BCD996T but the XT's have better audio.

Just make sure you get a scanner capable of scanner P25 systems. Most everything is going there.

Anyone ID 30351 yet? I was wildcarding last night and heard them on the BR tower. Trooper being called to return to the armory for OC spray. Also talk of wether they were going to open the oppalusis (sp?) gate. Any ideas?

Also, the database shows 19002 as being Iberville Parish Road Dept. which is incorrect. Actually 19002 is Iberville Sheriff Office Road 1/ Dispatch.

I believe 30350-30359 belong to the Federal City in New Orleans. I think 30351 is security for the campus, perhaps by USMC Military Police. I have those groups pending until I can get the alpha tags out of a radio, and will update the DB when I do. They only use 30350-30353 regularly.

Anyone got the Morehouse Parish SO and Bastrop City police? I heard the SO the other day, but didn't get a chance to write down the ID. A deputy told me the city of Bastrop swapped to 700, but i have yet to find any traffic from them.

I think T/G 52502 is going to be Bastrop Police Dispatch, NOT Wisner Police

52502 is DEFINANTLY Bastrop PD. Alot of activity on that T/G yesterday because of a shooting that happened. Heard several street names, as well as a vehicle description that was soon followed by a MPSO and OPSO BOLO for Bastrop PD.
