Lots of stuff happening in New Brunswick tonight:

1. A person struck and killed by a train on the Northeast Corridor near Baldwin Street

2. Rutgers reports 6-10 shots fired on Livingston Campus, suspects last seen heading on 18 South towards NB, were unable to locate the vehicle

3. Shooting on Easton Ave, lots of back-up provided (6 units) by Rutgers PD, multiple victims with minor gunshot wounds to arms, legs, etc. no one with life threatening injuries

4. Shots fired at the corner of George and Commercial, and another possible shooting at Feaster Park.

Geez!

7/22/06 Around 6:25AM in Lakewood Twp...

Anyone know what went on at the house on Rt. 9 (diagonally) across the street from the castle (I know it has a new name but I cant remember it) ??
4 Lakewood units, 3 unmarked white cars, Sheriff's department CIU, and a police line strung all across the property.

Bank robbery at Investor's Savings in Manchester this morning around 10 o'clock or so. MOCIB issued by county. Also heard 3 helicopters operating and talking to Manchester (looking for the suspect), on SPEN 1 around 11:15. I assume they were State Police choppers.

Accident in Lavallette, Rt. 35 & Jersey City Ave. Does anyone know if it was a fatal? I turned the scanner on at 3 o'clock PM and heard someone from the County Prosecutor's Office say something about CIU will be taking or had taken pictures and they would be turning the rest of the investigation over to Lavallette. I got the location from the WCBS880.com traffic report, Lavallette, Rt. 35 closed in both directions at Jersey City Ave, due to an accident investigation.

Edit: 3 car collision, one of the victims was transported to the hospital with "CPR in progress".

56 Rescue (Franklin Twp., Warren County) got called out for a car vs. train. The car actually just missed the train, the girl wasn't paying attention and swerved at the last minute. You can see pics from the incident here:
