SDS100/SDS200: Manual FL Creation Newbie

Apologies in advance.

Coming from a Radio Shack Pro-60 AM/FM scanner, this new SDS100 is mind boggling. Please point me to a SDS-100 101 link.

Objective #1 - Learn the basics of how to manually create a FL, and determine what is required, or can be ignored.
Objective #2 - Manually program a list of Indianapolis 500 Driver/Misc. Track Frequencies that I have on paper. (I only have the frequences, no other properties.)
I've entered a FL name called Indy 500, but have no idea what to put in the fields. (i.e., System Name, S;ystem Type?)
Objective #3 - Learn where I can search out other frequencies for other drivers at events other than Indy? I was not able to find any via the RRD, or Sentinel DB.

There are a lot of Youtube videos out there on how to create FL's from the DB, but not really anything out there for illustrating how to manually create FL's for Dummies.

Any help, or links is much appreciated.

While the Add Channels On Range method can be done from the scanner, I prefer to do it in Sentinel as its gives a nicer visual.
