I do have an issue with marking the talkgroups as deprecated since one can no longer see the Service Types assigned to the old system. I find them useful in working the new system. I understand that was the right thing to do but I wish I had saved a copy of the system before they were deprecated.

I was thinking of leaving the system visible but removing the link from the top of the county page when we know it is all offline.

I have a print out with all of the Service Types from 7-6-2019 but I don't have time to upload it. When I get some time I will put it all in a google doc or dropbox and share it here.

To help a bit with the talkgroup TAG's, I have found that one of the District 3 units had his radio parked on "3W300". I have heard within the last day or 2 dispatchers have switched from their normal hot tone traffic spiel "all units responding remain on West/East" and are now stating to "remain on 100", "remain on 200", and "remain on 300" etc.

I have a feeling based on the 3W300 I did see, and I am attempting to get this verified, MCSO may be using "1E100" for Dist. 1, "2W200" for Dist. 2, "3W300" for Dist 3, "4E400" and so forth for their district TG tags on their radios using the format [District] - [EAST or WEST} - [CHANNEL] or something very close to this. Only speculation but hopefully will get some verification soon.

And 'Fox 2' (N977MS) up as unit ID 101008 on Lakes orbiting The Flatiron in the western edge of the Superstition Wilderness Area.

This id does not have the same pattern as the previous ones for Fox units. Could it be 1011008?
Yes, my apologies for the typo! It is 1011008. Thank you for pointing out the difference!

Speaking of which, could anyone message me and walk me through how to add a unit ID section to the new MCSO system Wiki page?

If C-deck starts at TG 1022 and ends at TG 1037, then A-deck and B-deck aren't programmed in sequential order.

If the decks were set up in sequential order, it would be laid out like this:

1001-1016 A-deck
1017-1032 B-deck
1033-1048 C-deck

Even if A-deck started out at TG 1000, the numbers would only be off by one.

Either A-deck and B-deck aren't fully filled out with 16 channels each, or some of the channels are programmed with TG's that are way out of the sequential order.

This only serves to confuse things even further than the patching/multiselecting did.

Perhaps, they were probably patched so when it moved to another site, your scanner picked up the other one.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah Im sure now thats what happened. I caught 1108 again. Dispatcher asking a question and on another site 1102 the officer answered. Most of the time my scanner will display a patch such as "1106 1104".
