The District radio traffic talkgroups are 99.9% (CHART Ops (Emergency Patrol)) so I am not sure how big CHART ops are out West? They are extremely busy in Central MD. It does seem that the Shop Talkgroups are starting to get active out west. That is the talkgroups that would have more of winter activity (plowing, etc.).

Thanks for the info. Should the db entries be updated to something like District 1 CHART Ops (Emergency Patrol ) to reflect the actual usage?

I heard some talk on 7278 last night and this morning. This morning they were talking about the Oakland shop and rescheduling a meeting. Also someone from a RID of 2119509 was going a radio test count. Also hearing talk on 7277, something about "throwing it in the water", then someone said "Let's keep this talking to a minimum," then another guy yells "WAKE UP!" On the 7th of Nov. someone was talking about road temperature and going to Deep Creek to spread salt. It could be the Oakland shop. Lot of talk about Rt.38 and 495. Apparently from what I heard last night, they can also hear MSP.

All Encrypted Talbot Talkgroups. I believe some or all are schools talkgroups. I remember reading a news article a while ago about Talbot Schools getting "Encrypted" radios.

The 349' tower originally proposed for the ICC site to support FIRST and the new Montgomery County system was resubmitted to the MNCPPC as a 250' tower on July 19, 2019 and reviewed on September 13th. The Commission staff has recommended approval and referred it to MD-SHA.
In other tower news, the replacement for the MSP Cumberland Barracks in LaVale will include a new radio tower site. The state police have been operating out of the Allegany Co EOC since November 2018.

The Finzel scale house had a base station installed today. Heard MSP radio maintenance tell McHenry. A few minutes ago McHenry tried to radio to Finzel, but nobody responded.
Must have been a consolette, certainly not a tower site as there is already one just north of that facility.
