Thank you for the update. Sounds like they do have their hands full with some issues that are popping up. I wonder who is the one that assigns the P25 ID for federal agencies that want access to it. That is one system I would not mind doing some volunteer work for.
Radio ID assignment within the region are coordinated in blocks by a general agreed plan and self-assigned within the plan's defined blocks. I expect it's a safe assumption that the federal entities similarly self-manage within their blocks of that plan... just at a guess.

Looking at NRP Area 1 and Area 2 "patch" as seen by SDR Trunk over the Worcester / Somerset site, there appears to be several talk groups "patched" to each area talk group, then the two area talk groups are "patched" together. UT2 only shows the Super and the Subordinate talk groups (7551 and 7557).

Area 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, & 7/8 have all been patched for at least a year or more. I have heard a few times during major heavy radio traffic incidents, an officer (most likely a supervisor) request the patch to be taken down on Area 1/2

I believe SHA D1/2 are regularly patched together. Not sure about the other districts.

Yup, they've been "patched" for a while. My question was really about who / what is tgs(?) 2111, 9215, 8068, 15741 as seen by SDRT. I wonder if they are something system generated rather than actual tgs? Maybe consoles / consolettes?

Apparently, the Marshals have a TG on MD FIRST. Photo from a recent TV news piece. Also, does anyone know what the bottom line is? Usually, that's the radio alias?

Oh yes, that makes sense.

Any info on what TG that is? The radio was switched to encrypted, as seen in a later clip, if that helps.

I'm hearing SHA on TG 7253, mentioning MD 410 & 355 and streets in that area. I believe it could be the Fairland Shop in Siver Spring.

Or the Kensington Shop, but likely the Fairland Shop 32.

Seems that NRP is not using their normal Area dispatch channels starting this morning. When officers go on duty, they are being told to "contact the comms center or switch to the tac". This is occurring on all the statewide Area talkgroups. They are utilizing their Tac-1 (ENC) talkgroups.

Perhaps they are giving their personal info when they come on duty? Otherwise, it signals the tendency for low level officials to make it difficult to discover misconduct.

Areas 1 and 2 are using only their respective Tac 1 channels and are patched together. I'll be watching to see how this affects their interoperability with local fire and rescue departments, although the NRP likes to "go it alone" anyway, at least in the Annapolis area.

Same here in the Frederick area. Area’s 7,8,5 and 6 seem to be using their “Tac 1” talkgroup that’s encrypted. Maybe DNR has now have a change of heart ?
Looks like it might be safe to assume their ENC TAC is now their main Dispatch....disappointing. Enjoyed listening to them.

Does anyone know of radio ID 2125122???? that and 2117418 on the Montgomery Site today? Plus frequency on the montgomery site is being use for data use only and 774.556250 on the PG site that is being used for data use only as well.

Does anyone know what 7253 TG is? it is in the state highway listings between Laurel DOT Shop and Traffic Signal Shop East

2125122 is a state police user, and 2117418 is an MdTA ICC maintenance user. TG 7253 is probably Fairland Shop 52.

Ok they went quiet again after one of the Chart trucks talked to TOC on D3 and said the pothole repair patching was all done. I have been listing for that TG that i programmed into my mobile unit and ever since chart talked to D3 that TG has not appeared at all
