Is anyone getting any traffic on Helimed (1de0)? I'm trying to listen on a G5, so I'm not sure what site is programmed into it.

I'm in south central PA and can get MD FIRST just fine on several sites, but I never hear anything on tg's 7640 (1dd8) nor 7648 (1de0). Only place I regularly hear MSP aviation is on the respective systems for the fire departments they are working with at the LZ.

EDIT: So I checked my recordings and dang if I didn't catch some (rare) traffic on 7640 from TROOPER3 at 11:15a and again at 11:26a this morning.

The Helimed tg would be used for consults when enroute to UMST, although most consults occur on the ground via the local systems or UHF. Conceivably 7648 could be patched into Medstar, Children's, or the other regional trauma centers. TBH, I don't think I've ever heard Helimed in use on FIRST. I occasionally hear SYSCOM on 7640 and the 700 A-G channels. MIEMSS is in the middle of a major networking upgrade, so perhaps it might become more common with better connectivity with more facilities.

8428-8432 is a unknown Federal Agency with Rids of 1213xxx. Fully Encrypted. It has been seen on the Anne Arundel & Baltimore Sites since late fall/early winter 2023.

Based on approved agencies from the Radio Control Board, it could be possibly CBP Port of Baltimore, DHS ICE, or US Marshals.

The same agency also uses 8433, carried on the Worcester / Somerset cell. 15 - 20 users; fewer regular users. One user in the 1214xxx range has been on 8431, and also uses the MD-TACs all over the state.

If that is the case then that rules out CBP Port of Baltimore , and haveing 15-20 sounds about right for the NCR US Marshals fugitive task force based out of NOVA.

The CARFTF has offices in both Baltimore and Salisbury, along with offices in NOVA and as far south and west in Richmond and Roanoke.

True but remember the US Marshals not only have their own offices but can use the offices of the local city and county police that are on the NCR team and I would think they would be moving around alot faster when leads come in hot and they have to move very quickly as well. What I think that is very important is what is the time frame we are looking at here between all the radio id's and where in the NCR Region? which I think would include WVA,VA, DC,MD, and Delaware but they can travel to other parts of the US if need be. I think PA and NJ would fall under NY City command and NC would fall under the chief inspector for NC,SC and GA.

The point is that there are 4-5 tgs on FIRST that are in use by an outside / federal agency that *appears* to be under the DHS umbrella or perhaps the USM. Tg 8433 appears to be the Eastern Shore component based on its activity on the Worcester site; tg 8430 seems to be used in Central MD as it is in use on the Baltimore, Anne Arundel, and Montgomery (and probably other) sites - but not on ES sites.

True. If i remember right, there is a USM/DHS small office over on the eastern shore under the supervision of the NCR USM. Anyway thanks for the updates too
