7975 has become pretty activity with "security" related activity. 4 RID's which I previously logged them as MDOT Event Radios (used during special events/festivals). I am wondering if this is related to the Incident Command at MPA for the Key Bridge Collapse. 24 hour a day operation for the talkgroup.
Definitely Merkle NRMA. Mentions of Observation Tower, "Driving Tour," and Lookout Creek. All at Merkle.

There was a "wildland" fire. Baltimore County was using MD Tac 5 to communicate with Air National Guard Helicopters doing water drops.

That might have been National Park Service Protection Ranger (LEOs). State Parks do not have law enforcement rangers. NRP provides law enforcement at state parks.

NRP radios on FIRST are all encrypted. The dispatch talkgroups recently became encrypted also.

No, they had state park symbology on the doors. The reason why I thought they may have been LE Rangers is because the also had emegency lights on the dash, and Federal siren control boxes mounted next to the radio control heads.
They have yellow caution lights and a PA and air horn, but most likely not a full siren, at least my old employer never installed them.
