It's fair week in Medina County. Have been monitoring and it appears they are using TG 3301. This is not in the database and I don't have it in my list of known talkgroups. Not sure if this replaced the old fair TG 3030, or if this is some other type of shared TG. I will keep listening to see if they call it by name.

I have 3301 in my notes as the fair ground as well from previous years but only seems active this time of year so was hard to tell. I do not believe I have heard anything on 3030

After monitoring all day and speaking to someone who has inside knowledge, I discovered the answer to my original post. TG 3030 is still in their radios as fair channel. A few years back they switched over and started using TG 3301 which is Regional 1. They have 16 Regional channels starting with Regional 1 (TG 3301) and ending with Regional 16 (TG 3316). Everything in between falls in consecutive order. I will make a submission.

TG 3301 Regional 1
TG 3302 Regional 2
TG 3303 Regional 3
TG 3304 Regional 4
TG 3305 Regional 5
TG 3306 Regional 6
TG 3307 Regional 7
TG 3308 Regional 8
TG 3309 Regional 9
TG 3310 Regional 10
TG 3311 Regional 11
TG 3312 Regional 12
TG 3313 Regional 13
TG 3314 Regional 14
TG 3315 Regional 15
TG 3316 Regional 16

I saw the submission but didn't pick it up. What do you propose as a service tag? A description? What do regions 1-16 suggest? You might not know the answers, but those are the kinds of things that need to be included in a submission. have to know usage / agency(s) using it, if its police tac, fire tac, ems tac, interop, something else.

Mike,

Just like the MARCS countywide channels in Medina county I would tag it as interop. Each channel is listed in their radios as regional 1, regional 2...etc. I was told any agency who has access to this system has these channels programmed into their radios. I was told the regional channels can be used by anyone on the system, including police, fire and ems. All of this came from a trusted user on this system. I hope this helps.

You might want to update your existing ticket so that it has that info in there. Or update the ticket with the link to your response post here. that ticket will likely be picked up by FPO701, and I don't know that he would have read this forum post before picking up the ticket.
