Dark Mode please
Ugg this again. Please read through the entire thread before posting

And maybe a dark mode option since a bright white screen at night is...well...bright
Any chance this will include a dark mode setting?
Its been working good for me, was woundering if there was a dark mode and im just not finding it?

As shown above this has been requested numerous times (perhaps the most often requested feature) but the OP said uh-uh...

There isn’t a dark mode at this time.
UI theming isn’t a priority at this stage...

sdrtrunk-vce 0.6.2 Alpha 8 is now available. This release brings DMR and NXDN much closer to P25 in the web interface, with system, site, talkgroup, radio, activity, and signal-quality information. It also adds CSV exports, a searchable Alias Catalog, web and desktop dark modes, voice-call quality details, and improved RadioReference importing.

Alpha 8 fixes many tester-reported problems, including incorrect talker aliases, missing patch-group statistics, combined P25 recordings, missing streaming metadata or uploads, false frequencies and clocks, runaway Auto-PPM, progressively louder or clipped audio, control-channel rotation, conventional DMR/NXDN activity, and RadioReference imports that did not refresh correctly.

When upgrading from Alpha 7, install Alpha 8 in a new folder, back up the complete old data folder, and use Migrate Previous Data. Tuners, channels, aliases, streams, and settings are preserved or converted, but due to large database changes, collected calls, counts, activity, and site history start over. Download Alpha 8 and read the complete notes on the GitHub release page.

Alpha 8 seems to be working well. But, volume slider is missing.

I am also getting duplicate audio with alpha 7. Is there a fix for this?
I'm thinking you're unmuting both the desktop application and the web application. Desktop audio plays the call live, while the web interface plays the completed call. If both are unmuted on the same computer or speakers, you will hear the call twice.

For now, use one playback method at a time: mute web audio when listening through the desktop application, or mute desktop audio when listening through the web interface.

I plan to overhaul the web player in a future release and add new feature called scan lists, allowing listeners to subscribe to selected groups of aliases instead of using one global listen toggle.

One of the things that most of the monitoring tools out there don't do well, if at all, is handling ISSI roaming.

When a neighboring system's subscriber roams onto the local system, the local system provisions working unit ids and working group ids, but few apps actually track this mapping. (It requires monitoring the multi-block opcode 0x28 message to determine the remote wacn/sys/gid and the local group address for the group side and the 0x2c tsbk (assuming the remote/roamer wacn is the same as the local wacn) or multi-block (for wacns that are different)).

Having just looked at vce for the first time, nice work. I actually really like the possibilities with the web interface, and wish that it was possible to edit aliases from the Web UI without having to navigate through the (complicated) native UI on the desktop.

1. Is there a way to clear the queue? If I stop playing a busy P25 trunked system, sometimes there may be more than 300 calls in the queue, and they continue to play unless I restart the program. Takes a long time to play down 300 calls. Not as much of an issue on lightly used systems.

2. I see you can export Alias lists to .csv files. Is there a way to edit them and import them back into the program?

In reference to P25 transmissions being combined into one long recording, and calls not uploading to Broadcastify...
Will be fixed in next alpha
Jumped to Alpha 9 and both issues appear to have been resolved. Thank you!

I'm trying to create a way to easily manage aliases (talkgroups and radios) in VCE via the web interface.
How many of you use alias-ranges (besides for the purposes of wildcard/listening to every unknown talkgroup?)
Does anyone use 'unit status' 'user status' or 'tone sequence'?
I'd like to better understand everyone's use case so I don't accidentally remove popular features for the sake of simplifying in order to add other new features.

How is Tone Sequence used?

I use alias ranges for the purposes of blacklisting and whitelisting. Tone sequence, I haven't used.
