While on the topic of this, I think I found a hang-up. Either I hit the limit of ID's able to be imported, or it doesnt allow duplicate ID's. Each time it will import all of the ID's from one of my CSV's but then it gets partway through the second and freezes. The 2 systems have an ISSI link and radios frequently pop up on talkgroups on either system, so i just copied the entire list and gave it the corresponding names. For reference I have around 6000 Ids in each file.

If you want to email me the files, I will try importing here and see if I can reproduce. I don't think it should be an issue.

Wanted to thank @btt for all his help in getting me up and running! NJ has some strange control channel issues here but as you can see it working like a charm in sync with my SDS100. What a great device so far (still have a lot to learn)!

Should be fixed now. 11-25-02 will import the alias files. Note that the 12000 aliases take up approximately 7% of the flash.

Yes it would work, but you will need to be careful going portable with that antenna attached as it could exert a significant moment on the connector / pcb if dropped or got caught on something.

Yeah that was my bad....@btt noted this as well and I am now decoding even clearer once I changed it to LSM! (still a newb to all of this)

Is there a way to set it for unknown talkgroups while scanning?

Have you tried Roam Mode 5?
It allows you to select the systems/sites you wish to scan.

I ended up doing a SD backup, editing the file on my computer/removing all the sites I did not care about, then doing an SD card restore. This also allows you to easily edit talkgroups and make bulk changes without the need for a bunch of key presses on the device.

I would love some more information on what each of these attributes actually do in the user manual (future improvement?).
