2030 - MAXIE44 flt off McGuire on 378.85. "Due to our late takeoff we'll have to cancel buddy AR."

Activity on 228.9 between ZOMBIE-1 and HUNTRESS. C6506 is working intercept training with C8501 over OCNJ.

Caught some of the CLEAN / TABOR flights inbound to Langley and Barnes today on recordings.

1606z 285.150 TABOR 61 flight A-A "we're over the US now!' Talking about routing to Barnes and runway 20.
1607z 286.600 (No ID heard) A-A about routing to EMJAY and climbing up to FL320.
1610z 269.300 TABOR 51 working ZBW.
1616z 290.300 TABOR 51 chk in with ZBW, FL340.
1629z 263.050 TABOR 61 flight chk in with ZBW, non-standard six miles front to back, FL320 descending to FL290.
1636z 269.475 TABOR 61 flight chk in with ZBW, non-standard six miles front to back with you at 240.
1644z 258.000 CLEAN 24 and TABOR 71 flight on Boom talking about separation and routing back to Langley AFB. At 1707z heard final refueling comms between them.
1648z 320.650 TABOR 71 flight A-A.
1708z 269.300 TABOR 71 chk in with ZBW.
1710z 290.300 TABOR 71 chk in with ZBW.


Unrelated to the Coronet flight... at 1211z, a couple Langley T-38s took off from Pease earlier in the morning. MIG 01 flight working Pease departure and ZBW. They were using 315.850 A-A on the climb headed South.

MAXIE-44,45 up A/A 378.850 headed slightly Southwest mention boom checks. "45 is cleared to stern".
Don't know about you guys but my UHF coms in this pea soup humidity has not been very good this past week.
Then you get some sporadic strong L+C coms at times when you least expect it..

That 320.650 is new A/A freq for me on Langley guys.. Maybe down range freq or just a new one?
Anyway thanks Ed and added to my rotation :)
Sometimes when they work overseas in Europe etc they add new tac A/A freqs that we will never hear again Stateside.

MAXIE 44/45 conducting AR with WAGES 15 (E-6B, 163920) on AR-455; 291.900 secondary, then 336.100 primary.

That's the exact reason the older generation taught me to search vs scan. The problem i have is there's so many conversations when it drops one it picks up the next and you miss the next part of the first conversation. My question how do you guys search and catch conversations? I'm thinking I may grab 2 or 3 more airspy r2's to break it up and hear more conversations.

Mark, I originally caught that with the SDR while in VA beach last September. Ron confirmed it for me.
