1212- Hearing Glare 08 (MC-12 # 93-0698) & Glare 25 (MC-12 # 89-00274) working on SNC discrete (255.75), Have been off the NJ coast for most of the morning.

1215- Rhody 41 flt (C-130Js # 05-1435 & 05-1436 143rd AS RI ANG) off the NJ coast working way south.

Anyone know if blue11 is dragging any fighters? I thought I heard somewhere blue is a callsign used for tankers that fly across the Atlantic, and the last time I saw one with blue it was dragging some German fighters to Seymour Johnson

Is that a shadow of the U-2 on the balloon, or the pitot tube? The wing is in sharp focus, so I would think the same should apply to the pitot.

It has been noted that the shadow is from the U2 - that is why they are thinking it is a two seater U2 training aircraft.
When you used the word pitot - did you mean pilot or the pitot tube ?

BLUExx is used for fighter drags but is it dragging or is it positioning for a drag? Would still be BLUExx.

My quess...Qatari fighters and callsigns of those will be RETROxx

B-52 Stratofortresses to flyby part of Estonia Independence Day celebration events

Pitot tube.

Yeah the pitot tube(s) would be too small to be that visible. Definitely the whole aircraft shadowed on the balloon surface.
