Djibouti busy again today as RCH-402 C-5M #86-0014 from LERT to HDAM.
Most of these heavies don't stay long as prob running out of room there so seem to be dump cargo/pax and get back out.
Course other countries want to use the US base there as well.. One busy airport for sure.

The French have an airport, Chabelley (HDCH) six miles west of Djibouti City. We use that for drone operations, but it has an 8,500 foot runway and probably a lot of visitors right now. The main U.S. Japanese and Italian base is at the International Airport (HDAM) east of downtown and near the coast. Runway is 10,335 feet.

309.85 active as CAP players RTB, weak though, NOBLE A2A?

Yep, typo on my part, dropped a digit
Somebody check the tapes around 2000-2030L on 04/21. When I was on the way home, heard the CAP checking up that they had a TOI. Sounded like they were getting ready to pinch someone. It was scratchy for me in Baltimore through the handheld and car antenna -- was on the Huntress A-A frequency and the 260.900. Shortly afterwards they did clear and transmitted they were RTB.

Think their is US action in Sudan tonight as various HC,AC,MC-30J's have been logged in Sudan airspace overseas.
Currently RC-135W #62-4139 departing Sudan airspace back to Qatar.
Sure seen a lot of RAF tankers etc in and out of Jordan today mostly from their Cyprus base. Not sure what is going on there.

Thanks..have a feeling they didn't use Khartoum airport but somewhere else close by.
There are 16k of other Americans in Sudan but they are on their own according to US State Dept.
They just wanted the govt embassy folks out.. probably some US Embassy paper bonfires going on.

There is a RCH-119 C-17 #08-8191 that was Northeast bound from Ft Bragg but looks like diverting now into Andrews?
May have been that AR-20E Res for tonight.. Maybe they are not needed now.Keep thinking Green Berets but who knows.Maybe tanker cancelled.
