Something about SARS
1635- Something about a convoy heading south ? I see searching the forum that 379.825 is a known JSTAR frequency.
1636- TIGER flight handed off to ZOB. Reception poor today could not hear the controller when they got their clearance to RTB. Heading your way Steve (Saint), last time I heard B-1s around here they were using 371.450 for A-A.

Sounds like it is the back end of the JSTARS, callsign VULTURE.

1648 - B-1's are up on 377.000 air/air - working Cleveland Center on 346.350.

My buddy just got a pic from over Middletown, all in formation. I'll see if I can post it here. I forgot they were doing the planned NYC flyover. Now going up the Hudson.
They’re doing a show in Orange County this weekend. Kicking myself that I fat fingered the record button and didn’t capture it, literally directly above me, it was a sight

Heard them on 284.25 and 237.8 female pilot talking about problems using the bathroom as a female with the current flight suits. :)

In the Air Force there is a two piece flight suit that should handle that problem.

Thanks

I must have seen old Blue Angels schedule as showed Rhode Island this weekend but seems they don't really want
anymore airshows for long time.. Construction is one reason but have a feeling there are other local political reasons :(

NY ANG 106 RQW Rescue HC-30J returning to Long Island now..

Notice odd Australia mode S (72AC2D) headed Northeast from Massachusetts headed overseas maybe Iceland next stop.
Callsign mode s VH-8AN.. Originated in Florida.. Maybe another Beech 350 King Air delivery as there is also a VH-8AM Air Ambulance working Perth area Down Under.
Eastbound enroute West Coast Australia to Perth.. Prob better route than island hopping the Pacific .. Long way to go.. Crikey! :)

1100- Couple of DHS helos N72763 (AE4A87) & Troy 216 (AE4A88) have been operating at 500-600 ft over the Patuxent Wildlife Area, just south of Laurel most of the morning.
They’re two CBP AMO UH-60s from Selfridge working at the USSS Rowley Training Center. Two came in around this time last year for UNGA prep (working with a variety of tactical teams). They’re RON’ing at the CBP facility at HEF.

Any guess what ATC freq (Potomac) they’re on when flying around up there. They switched from 134.35 two mins before landing assured.
