I had two good days at NAS Oceana, though high winds kind of played havoc with scheduling and a few practice runs on Friday. Saturday was calmer. Just before the F-22 demo I walked all the way down to the southern end of the flightline - there was a small group of spectators hooked up with antennas, receivers, and speakers. I apologize for not thinking to take a photo of the configuration - there was a lot going on right about then, and at that point I only had my 200-500 telephoto and I would have had to go a long ways away from them to frame a shot. Was that anyone here on this forum, by any chance?

I was doing other things while monitoring, was NOBLE A/A something different today? I didn't catch any of them, usually that are pretty chatty.
Heard them only on way home on 228.800. Did most of their short chats while working on Huntress 260.900.
Some pairs use that Aux freq during CAPs but usually busy with Tanker A/R freq and 260.900 and ZDC ATC freqs.

Senegal A320 SENE001 on the ground at JFK, Czech Air Force A319 CEF01 is inbound now to one of the airports.

Looks like CEF01 is going to Republic
Years ago plane spotters always wanted to see Iran delegation plane the old 1977 Boeing 747-SP.
Seems to have been stored in 2018 out of service..Don't know what they use these days.Maybe Charter from Emirates perhaps?

Didn't know a lot of the major countries were skipping the gathering, was wondering why I didn't see UK or French aircraft coming in...

"Other world leaders, like Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak are skipping the annual gathering, in addition to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan."

Sure not NOBLE-42? Have them headed home 2130 local A/A 228.800 will push ZDC 307.275 "on way back to Shaw"
NOBLE-41 up now on ZDC 285.450.
It was probably Noble 42; played the recording back several times, really hard to hear with the weak signal.
Upon playback did hear Mike or Pike 23 on 231.625 that were staying in the CAP (tanker call?).

Funny as yesterday ADVICE-22 new to CAP said we were using ADVIC callsign as that is what is on our info.
ADVICE-21 says no we use Advice callsign but BigFoot will answer to either one.. Seems callsign shortened to 5 letter
digits so ADVICE looks like ADVIC on their forms.. Maybe tanker today was also using ADVIC.
I think they need a new tanker callsign :)

JFK is live on Tube tonight.. Funny commentator said same thing. Dont see many A-310's lately as AM4567 taxis.
You can rewind on video by sliding on the bar. rewatched AF-1 landing at 6:10pm.
IRAN-02 is overflying Greece now Westbound (7324E1) A-343 Airbus.
