SCAR 61 is working with HUSKY 83.
This flight is Air Refueling on 333.325

1110 - 276.500 MAINE 86 is waiting for a JSTAR to arrive at 1530z for refueling before refueling RAIDER.
1112 - RAIDER says they will likely drop into KGTB for fuel.
1114 - RAVEN 01/02 MD ANG A-10's working on 226.900, air/air 266.600
1125 - SCAR 61 (2 x RCAF F-18's) up on air/air 304.900
1128 - MAINE 86 calling HECKLER Control on 254.200
1137 - MAINE 86 talking to RAIDER 61 (E-8C J-STARS) on 276.500 co-coordinating AR
1137 - SCAR 61 working with JTAC on 226.900

I see RAIDER 61 is the JSTAR, still a ways out. I thought I heard MAINE 86 talking with RAIDER 02 earlier as well, maybe the one that had to drop into GTB ?
Yes exactly, it was RAIDER 02 that went to GTB, not sure what the aircraft type was. MAINE said he had to refuel the JSTARS first.

Appreciate the updates, since I've moved I'm getting about half of what I could hear before, and that wasn't great then. I'll have to live vicariously through your reports until I can get an antenna up in the attic.

I feel your pain! Hope you get a good antenna set up soon! Unfortunately I only get one day a week WFH when I can listen.

1100- Couple of DHS helos N72763 (AE4A87) & Troy 216 (AE4A88) have been operating at 500-600 ft over the Patuxent Wildlife Area, just south of Laurel most of the morning.
1157- Just had acft (call missed) work Wash helo (134.35) requesting clearance back to Manassas. Self id'd as 2 UH-60s.

1200- Another flt of NJ ANG F-16s off ACY working ZDC Sea Isle (285.4). A2A is 294.725

1512- TIGER 01 checking on with BARKEATER 244.500 confirmed as 2X B-1Bs, then to 226.900 working AQUA, playtime 1.5 hours. Earlier RAIDER 61 was calling TIGER flight on AR 276.500 but no reply heard.
TIGER's burning up the range notice pushing up to 580 knots at 18k altitude in the turns :)

1545 - Getting comms on 379.825, very strong signal - could be the JSTARS?
1603- just tuned it up, nothing so far. Was it voice or data you heard ? I'm hearing a strong tone like transmission on 288.000, could be interference but hearing the same thing on 2 separate radios and dont usually get interference on that freq ?
