My former employer (full time) now part time remote work employer has started more activity with Eastern. When I started tracking them I was thinking they could have selected a better ICAO code than BBQ. Just cannot connect BBQ with Eastern Airlines but then again I worked for an airline at the same time the "real" Eastern Air Lines existed (EAL). Since the "new" owners of the old Swift Air lean Republican - they tend to pick up the aircraft work for the party. Back in 2008 they handled the flight support for John McCain's Presidential bid flying the "Straight Talk Express". At least the aircraft are not all collecting dust sitting in the desert.

Because they can? They don't show on tracking sites or acars, so you would need to listen to ATC freqs for that area. My guess, training (DC doing night ops this week 4pm to midnight and go out to WV range in groups of 4) or Gaza attacking the Israeli delegation at the Watergate.
