13:53 local ROMA73 circling southwest of Fredericksburg Virginia
ROMA-73 still in the hold.. Trend F-16's having departure troubles perhaps.
Yesterdays KC-135 ROMA-63 has just come East from Phoenix and is on racetrack west of Nashville at FL260.
Maybe to help out ROMA-73 if they ever get going..

E-6B #163918 SHADO-22 (Maint flight) coming East from Tinker after spending couple months
down in Louisiana for upgrades.. This tail is long time Pax River regular.

1504 local just heard TREND-21 flight on ZDC Linden low 322.550.. Not sure if back inbound or outbound?

Potus coming along to Utah Sunday? TFR is up for 18k feet or is that an error? 4/3459 NOTAM Details
I think that is for perhaps snow avalanche dynamiting.. Says for Hazards.

What are the fighters callsigns in the CAP? Sound like STALK-51,52.

Those are McEntire F-16 callsigns according to the callsigns text file in the 2023 thread.

That reminds me. A few years ago I saw a similar sight off of the Lords Valley exit of Interstate 84 in Pennsylvania. It inspired me to make an HO scale drop deck train car with a C130 on it with my 3d printer.
Yes some of those over the road oversized load trucking companies are impressive.
Seen a few at the local Amtrak yard hauling long 120 foot train cars after wrecks etc on special extended low flat bed that
the rear wheels can actually steer around corners like a Fire company ladder truck... :)

I just googled "Largest plane delivered by truck" and this video came up with a KC135 on a flatbed. It is amazing the things they can put on trucks! I have seen windmill blades that were massive just rolling down the road like it was no big deal.

OT
I actually just saw that one of those long ladder trucks a few days ago make a relatively high speed U turn in an intersection (2 lanes in each direction), I was thoroughly impressed.

I was dying to tell the drivers that there used to be a video game for that.

Thanks

They made it to Nellis AFB after all. ROMA 63 was working Memphis center around 2230z and
he was worried that Nellis would be closed upon arrival of the TREND 21 flight around 0150z.
The Memphis controller however confirmed that the field would stay open for their arrival.
I will try to edit a soundclip later, I also heard them switch to boom freq 391.000 earlier in the flight ... :)
