Probably. RAWHD71 just took off from Norfolk, landed on the carrier about 75 miles closer than the ones taking off from it earlier this morning.

Looks like Monday Morning at Oceana is prime time.. May catch VAQ-142 EA-18G's hopping West across US to Whidbey..
Their ATC callsign is GRIM. Maybe they got to clear Customs first at Oceana but they usually waste little time getting home.

Just reported tonight on WBAL-TV about the loss of A-10s for the Maryland ANG and fight to have another aircraft to replace them, plus the State of Maryland working on improvements to KMTN like increasing the runway to 8100'. This work is a few years away with only half the funding now, but its's starting.

Hope they get another flying unit with living right by it.

So I guess that means the C-130 unit is already gone?
