For the HF guys. From another list.
0443z 18 Aug 24
2106z 14 Aug 24 FUN FAIR (HFGCS) broadcast a 30 character EAM X276HA. REDEEMER (presumed DEMI 79 E6; TACAMO PAC) was active on the HFGCS at 2120z, 2150z, 2220z and 2250z with X276HA. DEMI 79 was tracked through 0000z newday 15 Aug 24 around northern California maybe using the newday callword AGGREGATE (weak) calling PIN DROP (newday HFGCS) at 0153z through 0204z with no known response, landing just before 0300z 15 Aug 24. All this can be tracked using the playback function of Flight Radar 24, ADSBExchange etc.
Observations:
Since 0300z 15 Aug 2024 there has been no indication of an airborne E6B at any time on Flight Radar 24 or ADSBExchange through the time of this posting 18 Aug 24 UTC. Not for missions over land, the Gulf, Pacific, or Atlantic. Not for repositioning flights. (The same may also be true for the E4Bs/B742s.) It's easy to check on the adsb sites.
At 2041z TAX MONEY (HFGCS) broadcast at 30 character EAM BQ6XVT "FOR BEZEL 97" followed at 2111z with the 30-character X25DRB; and, at 2139z with the 30-character EAM X2SES2. As noted above there was no visible (adsb) launch of an E6 or any identifiable aircraft that might match that callsign.
Since 2250z 14 Aug 2024 there has been no heard or reported message traffic from callwords at h+10/h+40, h+20/h+50 or h+00/h+30 other than from the somewhat active HFGCS restoral activity during this time period. At 2006z 17 Aug 24 11175,0 TAX MONEY (HFGCS) was active with a brief call to MANGOLD (or possibly MANGROVE) "for a radio check" with no response or followup heard on a California sdr. There were no aircraft visible on the adsb sites that might use such a callword at that time. (Unless things have changed, one E6B is on 24 hour/365 ground alert.)
Unless the Mode S box monitors are capturing these things, or the adsb transponders are muted (unusual), there's been no visible or aural activity from the E6B for at least 72 hours.
