Couple of Travis KC-46's running from Kelly Field Texas up towards Michigan both at FL-250.
ZEPHYR-86 #21-46085
ZEPHYR-87 #20-46083
Maybe for last day of Northern Strike exercise?

I don't see ZEPHYR on Ron's list but notice the new Travis KC-46's have been using it.
In European tradition, a zephyr is a light wind or a West wind named after Zephyrus, the Greek god or personification of the west wind.
One of Amtrak's train routes to California is also called the Zephyr.

Travis has 4 ARS squadrons . Like McGuire hard to figure out who uses what callsign.
Guess call it 60th AMW/ARW? Guessing was Reserve ARS squadron 70th or 79th today..

The KC-46A aircraft will be operated by the 6th and 9th Air Refueling Squadrons for the active component and the 70th and 79th Air Refueling Squadrons for the Air Force Reserve Command.

Checking tape COBRA-47 to First Ops 349.400 reports off the deck at Dover 0129z.. "See Ya".
Track shows shortly after COBRA-47 headed Northeast across the pond at FL-330 then landed at Mildenhall 0823z.
Plane spotters over there will get some pics of that for sure...

0630 local ROMA-64 KC-10 #86-0031 doing Iceland Polar route westbound from UK at FL-250.
Must be bringing someone back to out West.

CAP folks up this am A/A 270.900

For the HF guys. From another list.

0443z 18 Aug 24

2106z 14 Aug 24 FUN FAIR (HFGCS) broadcast a 30 character EAM X276HA. REDEEMER (presumed DEMI 79 E6; TACAMO PAC) was active on the HFGCS at 2120z, 2150z, 2220z and 2250z with X276HA. DEMI 79 was tracked through 0000z newday 15 Aug 24 around northern California maybe using the newday callword AGGREGATE (weak) calling PIN DROP (newday HFGCS) at 0153z through 0204z with no known response, landing just before 0300z 15 Aug 24. All this can be tracked using the playback function of Flight Radar 24, ADSBExchange etc.

Observations:

Since 0300z 15 Aug 2024 there has been no indication of an airborne E6B at any time on Flight Radar 24 or ADSBExchange through the time of this posting 18 Aug 24 UTC. Not for missions over land, the Gulf, Pacific, or Atlantic. Not for repositioning flights. (The same may also be true for the E4Bs/B742s.) It's easy to check on the adsb sites.

At 2041z TAX MONEY (HFGCS) broadcast at 30 character EAM BQ6XVT "FOR BEZEL 97" followed at 2111z with the 30-character X25DRB; and, at 2139z with the 30-character EAM X2SES2. As noted above there was no visible (adsb) launch of an E6 or any identifiable aircraft that might match that callsign.

Since 2250z 14 Aug 2024 there has been no heard or reported message traffic from callwords at h+10/h+40, h+20/h+50 or h+00/h+30 other than from the somewhat active HFGCS restoral activity during this time period. At 2006z 17 Aug 24 11175,0 TAX MONEY (HFGCS) was active with a brief call to MANGOLD (or possibly MANGROVE) "for a radio check" with no response or followup heard on a California sdr. There were no aircraft visible on the adsb sites that might use such a callword at that time. (Unless things have changed, one E6B is on 24 hour/365 ground alert.)

Unless the Mode S box monitors are capturing these things, or the adsb transponders are muted (unusual), there's been no visible or aural activity from the E6B for at least 72 hours.

Good morning Mark and all,

ROMA 64 will drag the 125FS "OK" F-16s to Atlantic City as TREND 11-16, ETA 1630Z. They are on Coronet East 058.
They diverted to Keflavik [BIKF] last Tuesday as their supporting KC-46s were unable to refuel them.

Question: I have some problems replying to messages, it looks like the messageboard layout has been changed ?
Is there a work around for this perhaps .....

NOBLEs are working an intercept, seems it may be for N655HA a helicopter. Getting skip it now.

The pair that left around 1000 used 279.9 for A>A after they cleared the area.
I thought might be for N341DR C-182 out of Dulles who did loop up there on way
into Hagerstown airport but yeah that chopper got kind of close too.
Seems that Cessna flying only at 2k feet was dodging rain area..

Looks like the F-16s will arrive a bit earlier at KACY, they just passed nav point HOIST and their new ETA is now 1545Z.
Thanks Rene,

Coming through my area now.

1512z 309.300 TREND flight A-A.
1514z 294.800 ROMA 64 and TREND 11 on boom freq discussing WX for Atlantic City area and maneuvering around the storms on the way down.
1526z 294.800 ROMA informs the flight of splitting off shortly.
1529z 307.000 TREND 11 flight check in with ZBW FL260 direct Kennebunk then flight plan route. Talk of runway 13 at ACY.
1537z 370.900 TREND 11 (x6) check in with ZBW, FL260 non-standard formation.

They flew over my house! Heard the roar of the flight but thanks to the clouds...nothing to see here! ROMA 64 now landing at Pease.
