DC ANG off for practice this morning A/A 238.175 WILD-11 and ANGRY-21 flight of 2 callsigns heard.
ANGRY-21 A/A 285.225 and trying ZDC Sea Isle 281.450 no joy at FL 19k "eventually pass us to GK anyhow"
Maryland was trying for deal to acquire the DC ANG 121 FS in that stadium swap with DC but think
that got kicked down the road.The squad would have stayed at Andrews but belong to Maryland ANG.

I'd be interested to know if they twinkle during the 25th any. That might provide a little more info.
Since these things seem to be arousing interest, I want to mention in case it hasn't been noticed yet, there is a tower that pops up occasionally at KCLT too. Since there is an Air Guard base on site I haven't ever really given it much thought.

Over time I have kept records of these towers. The info I have on them is listed below from North to South. I have seen 2 at Newark.:

Maybe instead of Capitol Guardians they will be Ravens! Maybe use the current A-10 freqs as well someday.
I'd rather have the 21 F-16's instead of a crumbling money pit Landover stadium site good for only 8 games a year.

I would really like to think I am just daft and confused, and unable to comprehend the basic elements of that story.
If it was an expose' on backroom deals, that would be one thing, but it seems this is a done deal, having been worked out, transparently in public, and no one is concerned with the underlying motivations or the implications.
I dislike learning how the sausage is made. It makes veganism very appealing.
