1358L- Looks like the 3 CH-53S POTUS helos from yesterday are sightseeing on the Hudson. All 3 departed JFK and are in different locations on the Hudson. One now going south by Sandy Hook, NJ. I'm assuming the Ospreys are still grounded. Also there is a Chinook coming south on the Hudson River from Stewart ANGB.

1141 Local. Great comms with ground units (yankee) working with 104th A10's of close air support working warren grove.
Rgr 1040 local had RAVEN-01 flight of two enroute A/C with Dover apch 257.875 and tower 279.625 req to do a low
appch to runway 19 at Dover and then says will be turning out left to the North going to Warren Grove range.
Probably gave the Dover ground crews a surprise overhead :)

1449 local AXEMAN-1 flight of two also doing low apch now at Dover "gear down runway 19" on tower 279.625
Must be A-10 day at Dover.. Say checking their ILS gear.

Someone 01 A/A on 342.200.. Seems a new Martin State A/A freq as AXEMAN-1 flight headed back to Martin State on same.

One of the CH53's 162510 flying over the Delaware river in Philly shows in the scramble database as stored at 309th AMARG. Wonder if they are bring some CH-53's back into service because of the V-22 issues.

Yea, sort of surprised he went into DOV instead of PAX. Probably on his way to the Sand Pit.
Wx cloud deck ceiling is 1k with off and on rain I imagine nice wide white 10k long concrete runway 1/19 at Dover looks inviting
as a divert after cross country trip in that old Bird :)

Was going through my recording of 11175 kHz for the day. Very rudimentary - radio USB audio goes to GarageBand and recording is started so I can reference timestamps. Caught an ALE burst and spent the better part of an hour figuring how to pipe it from a recording to my ALE decoder. Seems like just a test of ALE capability, odd that it wouldn't be done on the HFGCS-ALE network.

0930L -

RX ALE: TO ALE TIS ALE BER 0 SN 19 / 11175 kHz
