RDU is finally getting our own drones? Awesome, take that NJ :ROFLMAO:
WORN76 departed RDU at 1545 UTC (10:45 EST) and returned back to McGuire arriving in the area around the time Ron heard them.

for verification see KRDU tower archive for 1530-1600 UTC and KACY radar archive at 1630-1700 UTC. Radar controller confirmed WORN 76 was a Boeing 757 to an airliner departing Atlantic City and turned WORN 76 over to McGuire approach after descending them to 3K altitude.

There's a P8 170477 holding just northeast of New Hope, PA at 2500 feet.
At work and not anywhere near my radio, but just noticed that on ADS-B myself and have never seen something like that before... What would be the reason for flying so low over Hunterdon County? Searching for the submarine launching drones out of Round Valley Reservoir? ;)

Off Topic? Absb showing pretty clear in my area, so I zoomed out and saw a cluster of activity in Rose MOA in Alabama, there were a large number of military helicopters there, I saw in excess of 30 at one point and more to the southwest near Pensacola, FL. I'm familiar with all the pilot training out of there and it's not an area I tend to focus on, thus it may not be that unusual, but I thought it was noteworthy. Don't know if there are any online scanners that might pick up any of their comms or if we have any members in range of that area. View attachment 175854
Fort Novosel - they do all the rotary wing training for Army aviation. Probably nothing on the scanners, as the majority of their calls are UHF and low band FM.
