OT: KC Chiefs Football team just made it to Denver for football game tomorrow.
Lots of icing at KC forced airport closure.. Boeing United Airlines Dreamliner N26960 made the trip.
Not a long haul for sure as 1 hour 45 min trip.
Those UAL Dreamliners sure get around.. check out schedule of this one particular plane.
N26960 Flight Tracking and History 04-Jan-2025 (KMCI-KDEN) - FlightAware
Makes you wonder how they can clean and deodorize this tail so quickly between those long legs... eeew.

On Monday, January 6, the President and the First Lady will travel to New Orleans, Louisiana, in the afternoon. It will be an interesting test for ADW ground crews with the pending storm, at least POTUS should be headed west after New Orleans stop.
What do you think guys. They change their minds and bump up this flight to tonight?
We haven't had this kind of snowstorm for 10 years.. Wouldn't surprise me if they make a change..

There goes #92-9000 headed towards Atlanta?.. #99-0004 in trail.
TFR for NO hasn't changed yet.. 5/0507 NOTAM Details
Maybe 92-9000 is for Pres Carter in Atlanta later for trip up to DC Tuesday? Supposed to be SAM-39 inbound DC.
Snow mostly out of here by late afternoon tomorrow so probably will keep AF-1 in
hangar out of snow/ice till ready to depart.

VINYL-81,91 assume flying two seperate groups of Vermont F-35's westbound just South of Great Lakes.
A lot of wx up Alaska way so maybe gonna stop at Travis instead.Acars has VINYL-91 into KSUU Travis.
VINYL81 passed with the F-35’s right over my head here in NW Illinois. Caught some good, solid comms on 314.400. 226.800, 234.800 and boom 391.000.

Nice catch.. Thats several of their favorite A/A freqs for sure..
VINYL-81 seems to have cut receivers over Omaha and going to Travis.Maybe F-35's are making Utah Hill AFB stop
then try for Alaska later.Hill AFB has warmer wx than us at 36 degrees :) Must have been 6 F-35's per tanker.

I did hear SPINE31 and 32 break from VINYL81 and contact Chicago Center on 319.200 a little later, requesting a divert to Offutt AFB in Omaha. There was a SPINE33 in the mix as well. Didn’t have those SPINE callsigns on my list. A lot of action in my neighborhood this morning. I like it!

Last October when they took some Hill F-35's to Hawaii also used SPINE callsign.
I guess a new Altrav fighters callsign for the Pacific region.
