Good weekend coming up for Wisconsin F-35's buzzing around up in the Northeast.

Madison F-35s to train in Green Bay; provide Lambeau and Camp Randall flyovers

The 115th Fighter Wing will forward-deploy two F-35 Lightning II aircraft to Austin Straubel International Airport this weekend as part of a training and recruiting event that includes flyovers of both the University of Wisconsin Badgers’ and Green Bay Packers’ football games.

The 115th Fighter Wing will be conducting evening flight training Monday through Thursday (November 4 - 7th). This will shift the wing’s typical morning and afternoon flights to the afternoon and evening. Area residents may see and/or hear F-35A Lightning II aircraft flight activity up until approximately 9:15 p.m.

Training flights normally take place during daylight hours, but pilots and maintenance personnel are required to conduct evening operations as part of their overall readiness. Pilots will follow flight paths designed to minimize noise to area residents.

The text messages I get from ( I think it's some dept public affairs?) On plane flyovers etc notified me of this and I thought practice was do to all the politicians in and about our state.

On the milair topic my central wi location I tend to hear more mil air as opposed to over near my family in vernon co area. I'd think I'd hear more do to vernon/monroe/juneau having multiple military areas? For the listeners in that area do you hear alot??

Thanks, they were two F-22s returning to Elmendorf AFB from their deployment in the Gulf.

The text/email notifications from dma/oem or what ever there called never gives a specific location. I take that back sometimes they have said over Randall Stadium or a area. But most just give a general message
