The 178th w/RNLAF were up Wednesday afternoon using 139.9750 and 141.6000 (V8),
I have never seen or heard any Ohio actiivty on 141.650.

It was confirmed by members in west central Ohio that the 178th were using 141.6500 on Thursday.

TROUT 99/Unk KC135 and TORCH 01 used c/s of HOTDOG 1 B2 on ZME 288.35>257.75 and A/A 305.600. Flew right over the house at FL310. Good view of the KC135 and the B2. B2 was about 2 miles entrail.

Further on this B2 contact, scratch the HOTDOG c/s and the A/A. This was associated with another military flight in the area. The only c/s asoociated with the KC135 and the B2 were TROUT 99 and TORCH.

Monitored on October 5, 2008 from Winchester, KY on 240.35:

Lots of A/A activity from Southern OH/IN. At around 1930Z I heard unknown aircraft type forming up with a tanker for refueling. Interestingly enough, they spoke in heavily-accented English. After some digging, I found that the OH ANG has a joint training agreement with the Royal Netherlands Air Force. I'm sure this must have been the accent I was hearing.

At around 2000Z, I heard F-16's with C/S Sabre 1 and Sabre 2 doing exercises with calls of Fox 3, visual kill, and spiking. These comms came in very loud and clear and were great to listen to!! I was listening on a Pro-97 with a Radioshack Center-Loaded Telescoping Whip Antenna (Model: 20-006.)

Go getum Joe. I have picked up several acm exercises from here in BG that were happening up on the ranges in IN and OH but they would have to be at a fairly descent altitude for me to receive. Since you are closer you should hear them fairly often. Try a search of the 137-143/am band at .25spacing for a lot of a/a stuff also.
