4055 appears to be a secured tg, it's in the 7 Alpha 12 knob position in the MCFR fleetmap (MC SEC A 12). Looking at the fleetmap, 4045 is 7A10 Inc 22, 4050 is 7A11 Annc, and 4060 is 7A13 MAS, so it could be that 4055 is 7A12.

6375 is on RRDB appears to be identified as Takoma Park police, and 6800 is identified as WSSC law enforcement.

The 73xx ones could possibly be public works/transportation tgs.

Has anyone noticed that part of the fire TG's are phase 1 but the rest of it is phase 2? When I programmed my Harris XG100 with the new system of course I entered the set up for TDMA like you should for a harris radio. When I was scanning it would pick up the fire side with no problem but nada from the police side of the house unless I had my channel parked on a PD Dispatch channel. same thing with MSP, TKPK and the other police TG as well. I wonder if the radio techs put the TDMA in a different slot then what is normal slot 3 and slot 4 for TDMA.. Has anyone used a Unitrunker or SDR to find out the FDMA and TDMA slots for the system??

I'll look at the channel data a bit later today. I saw a new site for this system as well, but that could be a bad decode.

Any possibility that MCPD Ops channels are now encrypted on the P25 system? Seems as if they possibly are.
Anything is possible, but has this been verified? I don't think so. I know I have heard police type communications on various 6xxx range talkgroups that are not district channels, and are not in the rrdb.

remember MC Sheriff had there own channels as well on the old system. that might be the county sheriff that you hear talking in the 6xxx range plus there is county corrections as well.I did catch TG6375 at 0420 as a pd unit and by the call sign it sounded like a sheriff unit. I have also caught TG7630 encrypted at 0423 as well and thinking about that encrypted transmission wasnt Gaitherburg PD encrypted full time???

I don't believe Corrections has migrated yet - I thought they were scheduled in the last group to move over.

Again, instead of speculation, people need to monitor all the active tgs in the 6xxx range to find the unencrypted channels that have not been ID'd, and submit them. It's going to take time and effort. No other way to do it.

For county building maintenance, we used to have 2 ways. We went to Iphones and all work orders are sent to the phone. I think we should be using both, but not my call.

When will the state turn on the Montgomery's FIRST system
Some of it had to take a backseat to this. There is a meeting of the board Wed the 17th so if the site isn't live by then, I am sure we will have an update. Did someone ever find the linceses? Would be worth putting the frequencies assigned to the ICC/MD 97 tower in the scanner.

WREL731, but late summer is when the county goes live on the state system. The precise date seems like a moving target.
