I wonder how many more Bases will be sending letters? Hopefuly none. It stinks but what can you do.

The only thing that would be sad, is if the U.S. Department of Homeland Security decides this site is too full of information and sends the big letter saying too remove ALL Federal Information.

DOD Frequencies and the civilian frequencies controlled by NTIA are not public records and have been classified CONFIDENTIAL. Even in MARS you can no longer give a frequency on the air, each frequeancy has been given a 3 letter designator and that is all that can be passed over the air. It is against federal law for member, agent or employee to release CONFIDENTIAL information.

Although this does not apply to Lindsay, he is put in the position of what is best for the nation and will be the result if he continues to permit them to be listed. I would not want the federal government looking for some excuse to prosecute me. I'm sure that with just a little searching that the frequencies can be obtained. But there is no need for an individual to stick his neck out.

I still see no prohibition for radio hobbyists to own radios and scan away for whatever there is out there to scan.

If someone transmit a signal accross your property and through your body...then you have a right to know what is on that signal.
