Those are the radio id’s that transmitted a valid gps location.
True. I wish, but DES will likely never let that happen; they are very protective of their system. But that's another rabbit hole discussion for later, lol.
I bet we will see every PD agency in the county go to MRRS at some point before they join A66 and DES will be left to figure out what they did wrong.
The SRD you're using imprints data hits on a google map? What software and add on are you using?I have been all over the Island with the 436 (month and a half ago) and did not receive it in Nassau. I get a full scale hits on Rt 27 in North Patchogue (Suffolk) but lose it when trying to hunt it down a mile and all directions. Get full scale @ William Floyd pkwy out in Mastic (Suffolk) but could not pin point it. Was not coming from Mastic rail. Checked Ronkonkoma rail and could not obtain a signal. Went North up to Hauppauge and could not obtain a signal. Checked Patchogue rail and determined Zone 1 is transmitting from there.
Running 2 instances of SDRT, one on Zone 1 and the other on 161. In 24 hours 161 had 10 gps locations broadcast and Zone 1 had close to 50.
Zone 1. Nothing East of Ronkonkoma

161 Has hits East of Ronkonkoma with nothing West of Garden City (Nassau) and nothing past Port Chester.

Thank you for the info. Can this run with only one SDR dongle just for CC decoding? I ask because I believe I've read that some programs require two. I have no interest in decoding voice.Since that post I received a bunch of PM's asking about it and was just coming to post.
SDRTrunk Nightly build is decoding the gps data (on MRRS) and plotting it on the map in the map tab. There are some radios on MRRS Zone 1 and site 161 that transmit invalid location data and will show in the events window. These no longer show up on the map as of 10/2 I believe.
If anyone is doing events filtering, GPS in Data calls needs to be checked.

Yeah, the program in his screenshots is SDR Trunk. IMO, it's great, but there is no way to customize the map's UI fully. Zones 2 and 3 also carry GPS data. I'm not 100% sure if DSD+ does the same.Thank you for the info. Can this run with only one SDR dongle just for CC decoding? I ask because I believe I've read that some programs require two. See the numerous posts on here about 325P2 and other non SDS or Unication scanners issues with P25 simulcast. Basically the scanner is not designed to properly receive P25 LSM simulcast.I have a Uniden BCD325P2 scanner and have this system programed into the scanner but can't get Voice on it for zone 3 Westchester Police departments. I have it programmed like my SDS100 scanner which receives Westchester City, towns & village police just fine. I do not know if my 325P2 scanner is able to decode the voice or is it something else going on. for example, I just received I Harrison PD on SDS100 But not on my 325P2. I would like some help with this. thank you.
