Polk County site license was granted. It will be on the NPPD Microwave tower a mile or two north of Osceola.

Around 1400 today, logged these TGID's:

3540-NPPD?-Dead keying, no voice

3538-NPPD?-Possibly another NPPD Chadron TG, a woman calling for another employee, no joy. The woman calling sounded similar to a transmission monitored on TG 3549 NPPD Chadron office on going to Gordon, Ne.

3094-NSP?-May be a Troop B Car to Car TGID. It has been logged several times over the weekend. First heard voice today, a radio check.

Still trying to ID the following:

3527
3546

Three more new unidentified TGID's this morning:

3559-NPPD
3028-NSP?
4001-????

Looking into Pro96com, Look like all NPPD vehicles start with 36xxx and consoles are the same as NSP 41xxx.

TGID 3106-Troop HQ, Not Statewide?

TGID 3106 showing up this afternoon 1500ish with traffic around Lincoln, NSP 95 with a records check on a vehicle in Waverly, NSP 365 with a open mic, rather interesting conversation going on.

Dispatcher kept saying "Lincoln"

I am showing this as a patch over Win96com. 3106 is listed in the files as a Statewide talkgroup, this will be worth monitoring, a change may be needed in the talkgroup files.

Anybody else in the east hear this???

Based on some guessing on talkgroup numbering, I suspected that this would eventually be the troop HQ Lincoln dispatch talkgroup. It is listed in the DB as car to car as this is the only type of traffic that has been monitored until now. It sounds like they are finally starting to bring some of Troop HQ online. I will listen to some of my recordings, and update the DB later to accurately identify this talkgroup.

For those of you around the Lincoln area, this is now the time to start identifying new talkgroups. I will post some of my guesses later, and we will need some help to identify new stuff.

Thanks to everyone for the submissions!

The new Humphrey location is still in build stages, antennas not installed yet. I'm not sure how far along the Polk County site is. I thnk the contractors will be doing tower work as soon as the weather warms a bit.

Pro 96

I have a pro-96...I will do P25 standard and the 9600 BAUD, but im guessing that since this is a trunking system my pro-96 is a no go for this?

A Pro96 will receive P25 trunking systems. I believe you will need a custom table/band plan for Pro96 to track N-WIN properly, since it is a VHF trunking system.

Here is a custom table that was posted a while back for the Pro96

Howdy, Rich and all!

I've been listening to the Nebraska City CC frequencies and have heard nothing as yet! However, when the first bits start streaming, I'll update the group!

As far as I can tell, the antennae have been installed - they were there prior to the recent cold weather, so it shouldn't take too long to go on-air, provided that the equipment is on-site!
