New Alinco DJ-X100 wideband receiver

I contacted RT systems regarding software for the DJ-X100T. This was their response:

"We have the radio and have begun the development process, but we do not yet know if software will be a possibility at this time. Feel free to check back with us at a later date for an update regarding this software."

Hope they will manage, it's a very nice scanner, but Alinco's software is very basic, to say the least.

Firmware version is 1.02, MCU 3.90-008
EditTool available at this forum is also unusable because the firmware version error...

Any idea?

Welcome to the RR forums. I don't own the receiver or the app but I'd recommend taking a screenshot of Ch 001 Column 1, perhaps it'll give us a clear picture of what might be going on...

I've the same radio and software version and I get the same error. I have to program manually at this time until a new firmware/software is available.

The frequency range (30-470MHz) of DJ-X100 is actually enough to cover commercial radios in Japan. P25 is used mainly by US forces in Japan and a few government agencies with encryptions. TETRA is mainly used at airports in Japan.

Can someone tell me that T version can decode NXDN 4800 ? I ve got no luck even i had a full signal on single channel.İ m sure it s a n48 channel.

Contacted Remtronix.Mr.Raj helped me a lot,finally i m back to 3.90 fw with English menu.But still no nxdn comms.

Yes, this is the new firmware update. It comes with its own programming software. I don't know of any third party programming software available. Supposedly RT Systems may come out with their own.

Major changes:
Removed DCR mode from both E and T models.
NXDN(N) and (VN) modes are added.
Minor correction to AM sensitivity
FM radio step corrected to 100kHz (T-version only)

Roger i have T version also.Updated new fw for T but no luck for nxdn.
I can listen same freq. with Uniden bcd325 and dn160 clearly but with Alinco still nothing.

Main main PC still doesn't like the scanner (AMD CPU) , but parallels on my macbook did the trick.
Ran the upgrade, which went fine (see caveats below).

• The hidden code (sqrt[2]) to enable POCSAG is now gone in the E-Model
• All DMR channels where changed to NXDN(N) mode
• All dPMR channels to NFM
• ACARS,NFM,AM,D-STAR remained as is/was
• CTCSS was also untouched

CSV Export does not include the bank information...

I definitely need better programming software for this unit !
