Did you check the database? It's already been confirmed and added.

I just thought of something...if you know they had a mission there, but don't know the talk group, how do you know they had a mission there

Citywide 3 is now patched to TGID 5929/Phase 2.

Seeing many key-ups last couple of days on TGID's 3001 and 3002 with RID's in the 505xxxx range. Since this system has been live 7 years ago, can't recall ever seeing TGID's in the 3000 series so this is "possible" to not be CPD related nor do I recognize the RID's? They would normally fall into the CPD usage range, but can't confirm the users as of yet. Both TGID's also Phase 2.

Voice testing heard in the clear a short time ago. Appears to be a Harris console (no RID displayed) and some portables, on both TGID 3001 and 3002 in Phase 2.

TGID 3001 confirmed as Chicago Department of Revenue/Parking Enforcement this morning. 900 series units, calling out plates, confirming for boot eligibility. Same traffic previously heard on Streets and Sanitation frequency 453.825. Traffic in Phase 2 and in the clear.

Might be a good idea to add Streets & Sanitation as a Department. TGID 3002 hasn't been identified yet, but previous key up's showed many of the same RID's seen on TGID 3001 so I'll assume they're going to be related?

@kevino and I both caught the same radio traffic today on TGID 3001 & 3002 which were self identified as Finance-1 and Finance-2 and the database was updated. We discussed keeping it under the Streets & Sanitation heading or create a new one and I see Kevin opted with creating a Department of Finance heading and it looks good. The OEMC heading was also updated, thanks again Kevin!

"The Department of Finance is responsible for revenue collection, utility billing, tax and parking enforcement".

B-974 (Department of Finance-Boot Team) was just calling in a reckless driver on the Citywide 3 800 patch with RID 5050880. This was one of the RID's seen on both the TGID 7101 & 7102 previous testing.

*This was edited, after I listened to my recordings, it was B-974 which is a radio signature for one of the Boot Teams not 4974 (CPD Mounted Unit). Thought I was on to something...LOL!**

Two new TGID's being tested this morning: 7101, 7102, both in the clear and Phase 2. RID's heard were in the 50508xx range so far. "Possibly" another city agency/department coming on line?

CFD Fire dispatchers at the OEMC have been using portables since last night as well as the Harris console at the O'Hare Communications Center (OCC). Midway Communications Center (MCC) is still using the Harris Consoles.

In addition to the above, and might not be related to one another, the OCC PCAD went down in the evening. This is the computer that's hooked up the OEMC and can generate their own RD Numbers and City Event numbers.

An announcement was made during the OCC morning radio test that all dispatches will be coming from the OEMC-Main since the Fire CAD is also down and to report all statuses via the radio.

Around 1930-2000 hrs. last night, the CFD OEMC Harris consoles went back on line. They went off line around the same time on Wednesday, so "speculating" this might have been a scheduled 24 hour maintenance or a software upgrade to hopefully prevent the consoles from randomly going off line.

The OCC's Harris console went back on line sometime overnight or early this morning. The PCAD and FCAD are also back on line as of this morning and normal dispatch operations are taking place.
