I keep seeing these TGs popping up, anyone have any idea what these are for?Just hearing some activity on 5930-5932 full enc, 9xxxxx series RIDs.
They’re encrypted, so no idea.I keep seeing these TGs popping up, anyone have any idea what these are for?
are those RIDs for CPD or another agency? They’re encrypted, so no idea.
OEMC radio ID’s per my list.are those RIDs for CPD or another agency?
Just a quick correction in the database, 7035 was called CDP-EPP 2. I don't know what EPP stands for, might just be abbreviated for the radio display? I had to listen to my recordings a few times for confirmation.TGID 7035 was self-identified as CDP-EPP 2
Oops. I copied and pasted but forgot to change the 1 to 2.Just a quick correction in the database, 7035 was called CDP-EPP 2. I don't know what EPP stands for, might just be abbreviated for the radio display? I had to listen to my recordings a few times for confirmation.
It was just identified as CDPH-EPP 1 (7034) this afternoon which makes more sense. I thought the "CDP" wasn't correct, so probably CDPH-EPP 2 is the correct channel for 7035. Radio ID's that I've seen so far are 790212x series. Nothing other than some testing so far heard.Chicago Department of Public Health just heard:
TGID 7034 was self-identified as CDP-EPP 1
TGID 7035 was self-identified as CDP-EPP 2
All CDP personnel monitoring were told to make sure the radios were back on channel EMS-11. I suspect this is for EMS Region-11's (Chicago Region) starcom encrypted talk group as per the previous testing I heard.

Yes, it was temporary, at least for now. One of the dispatchers who was having issues hearing the first part of messages on EMS-Main mentioned, "we are back on the back up again so I'm missing the first part of what you said" on Friday morning. The MDC tones were back on the EMS consoles yesterday and today.
This could be either testing for the CTA (unlikely because its enc) or testing for a citywide 1 migration.Radio Techs are testing coverage in the new Red Line stations up north on TGID 9001. TX-6 and TX-7 are coming up as encrypted while the others are in the clear. Heard them at the Argyle stop testing platform, stairwell areas.
This is the talk group assigned to the OEMC Radio Techs and they frequently use it when performing range/coverage testing. This could be either testing for the CTA (unlikely because its enc) or testing for a citywide 1 migration.
Two new Community CARE Teams went up in service today: 5-Z-04 (5-Zebra 04) which covers the 4th CPD District, and 5-Z-12 (5-Zebra 12) which covers the CPD 12th District. By adding these two teams, that corresponds with the 6 CPD Districts serviced on the map. I'm not sure if 5-Z-78 (5-Zebra 78) which covers the CPD 7th & 8th Districts, will be broken up into two teams or will remain as one?
All heard on CFD EMS talk groups 1023, 1024.
