I went through my logs from yesterday and found another TG. 4141. The 2 radios that affiliated have not affiliated on the NJSP system (at least on Troop B). There is an adjacent radio ID on the NJSP system that looks like its been used for testing.

One way I think for IDing these crew channels is to listen for unit number,I heard a 38 unit come up on 3093 so that may be Crew 38 for Central.

Correction, Remu 1 is 4131. It would appear from yesterdays log that 4141 is REMU 2.

New Site 0122?

I have been seeing 039Ah-0122 on 770.9562 for several days.

Weak but steady.

I do not see this on the Wiki or this thread, is this new?

Anyone?

Where do you live?

The question to where Iive might be better answered with this:

I am in Somerset, Unon County area. With Diamond Discone and 1/2" hardline, Antenna is 35 AGL and my elevation is 400MSL.

I hear from Monmouth to Bergen to NYC to Morris,Hunterdon, Warren and Mercer Counties.

Anyway,Site 122 appears to be new and is simulcasting the North System.

More testing heard this time on 4139,they it called the "Fairfield channel"

Also I did some traveling on Interstate 195 today and i noticed the patrol area signs were changed to Safety Service Patrol from Emergency Service Patrol,I did some searching and sure enough they renamed it during the first quarter of this year. I saw 3 patrol trucks only one had a unit number on it (7529). http://www.safehighways.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/NJDOT_SSPCoverage.pdf

The Fairfield thing is to be expected, as the state plans on having 3rd-party agencies that wish to use the state network operate over here once the system is complete.

I'm pretty sure the system will be able to fully handle simultaneous FDMA & TDMA traffic based on the end-user's radios.

I have processed numerous site updates today; as a reminder, if any of you have run Pro96Com on a site and can forward this information to me, I can add it to the database as well. Also, if any of you have confirmed the approximate site locations with the corresponding frequencies; please let me know and I can cross-reference the actual towers location and update the database as well.

Thanks,

Jerry - W2GLD

Scott and other; yes these sites will all process FDMA & TDMA accordingly, at least for a while until all the older radios get replaced; though not likely to change for at least three years.

I would suggest the database reflect what is shown for the 800 MHZ system.

For example we know that 039Ah-0101 CC 774.78125 is North Simulcast Statewide (that is how the database reflects the 800 system) why not keep it the same? So we would have Central and South Simulcast Statewide.

Also Site 039Ah-0122 CC 770.9625 needs to be added. I have no other info on this, but it is on the air.

Just a thought.

The reason the system is setup different than the 800 system is because this is one large Project-25 statewide system, sharing the same system ID throughout multiple sites statewide.

In the case of the original NJSP 800 system, they have three unique system ID's which have been tied together; therefore creating three simulcast systems with roaming; completely different than a traditional Project-25 system.

I should note that both systems will eventually be running the 7.11 platform and the 800 system will soon take on this type of setup. For a better example of what NJ 's system will eventually look like, see Michigan's MPSCS System.

As for adding this additional site, do you have the Pro96Com log file or further information on the site for confirmation on it existence?

Thanks and happy monitoring...

TGID 1761 sounds like Hudson County LERN channel. I heard Secaucus PD, Weekhawken PD with BOLO alerts. On the Pro96Com it shows all different RIDs so most likely it's not patched.
