They are clearly using the same ID's on both systems. This should make it much easier to ID talkgroups going forward.

I will be uploading an updated spreadsheet later today. I trimmed out anything out of Unitrunker that hasn't affiliated in the last year. I have also added a ton of ID's since I have been getting most of C & A troop talkgroups on and off for the last week or so.

Just to clarify...you're saying you've been getting NJSP Troop A & C talkgroups on the 700MHz system?

No, he's hearing A & C traffic on the B 800MHz system.

Has anyone find out what the deal is with the license is for this 700MHz system? There is nothing in the FCC database that shows what frequencies are used, the location of transmitters or anything...

Interestingly enough, the state hasn't even filed for a license as of today; hence the 'CHANGEME" being displayed in the call sign.

Yeah, I heard the same thing. The frequencies are broken up into regional blocks (or something like that), & then allocated in a way to not cause interference with other local users.

If they are using the 700 MHz state block, then it is covered under WPTZ794, State license channels in 700 are a block. No further licensing at a site level is required. States coordinate among each other.

Section 90.529
(note that the dates were recently extended by the FCC)

Section 90.531
90.531(b)(5)

John,

That site is coming in very strong down here - I finally get a chance to try out Pro96com (I was starting to get jealous of you guys that have been hearing traffic)!

Central ESP

I noticed a talkgroup was added for Central ESP, are they using the new system? I haven't heard any units other than North and South on Site-103....

I have logged Central ESP (3669) very active today between 11AM to 12:30PM and between 2PM to 2:30PM. Did you listen during those times?

Off Montana, I am seeing some keyups on TG 3091.

Also see affiliations on
3625 (DOT Maint N)
3629
65536

Same user range as on the other sites (43xxx to 45xxx)

I heard the same thing as well on my drive down to Lanoka Harbor this morning. A unit calling himself out at the Lakewood garage to CentralCom. Maybe an electrical repair unit?

And I swear the keyups I saw on my 396 on site 102 were 3019, not 3091, but I could be wrong! I was getting that site on I-287 south in Piscataway. It's highly doubtful that the Montana Mountain site was getting out that far (possibly, we are seening certain 'sites' coming from multiple repeater locations in the same geographic area).

The site here just went off line, while searching I came up with another site (not even 1 bar but enough to decode the site #)

Site 127
