Manassas City works on their own system, I believe the police channel are encrypted. I assume all of the PWCPD officers who were assisting switched over to ManCity's channels.

Loudoun is working a brush fire on Brown's Mill Lane west of Lucketts. There is mutual aid from Frederick and Montgomery.
1640- About 75 acres involved at this time, requesting some resources from the Dept of Forestry.

VSP in pursuit of a Honda Odyssey southbound I95. Speed over 100.
Hit a vehicle near Rt1.
Were advise to terminate if it reached the work zone past Rt123.
Fairfax1 is on the way.
2325- Crashed into rear of another vehicle and overturned right after supervisor confirmed to terminate. Hit a tractor trailer too.
At one point a trooper pulled up along side it and the driver gave him the peace sign.
Traffic was already at a standstill, now it's really going to get bad.

Nightly VSP pursuit has begun. Black Charger, I495 to I95 southbound. Fairfax helo requested right away.
2347- Drove around Springfield for a bit, now northbound 395. Rammed a trooper prior to getting back on the interstate.
2349- Fairfax1 on the way.
Exited to Quaker Lane.
2351- Lost track of it at Duke St.

I though I woke up to the end of a pursuit when they had the helo up pointing out the perps in Springfield.
Reviewing audio around that time I'm hearing about multiple fatal pedestrian strikes on the Beltway and then additional follow-up wrecks including a tractor trailer nearly taking out a trooper.

No wonder things weren't making sense. Tried selecting 3/17 again and for whatever reason it goes to 3/10 traffic. So it wasn't something I did.
Something else I noticed- on the night of 3/16 VSP was escorting someone from NOVA to Richmond. The governor? And in the 3/10 comms there was a unit mentioning he was on his way back from an escort.
Maybe. The Governor had an event on 3/15 in NOVA. Do you remember what time/what channel that was on?
I believe the 3/10 escort was for a plane going to Udvar Hazy from the Museum.
The STARS OpenMHz page has been down since 3/10, which is why you haven't heard any comms since then.
It looks as the Openmhz feed for the STARS Independent Hill site is offline since 0741 AM on 3/10, so no archive after this time. That feed was a good one, but for whatever reason the host took it down.

Police are currently searching for a murder suspect in north Alexandria. Suspect vehicle was found abandoned so a perimeter has been established. Fairfax helo is assisting.

Brush fires having been breaking out all over Loudoun. Fauquier is also working a pretty large fire with lots of smoke blowing into Loudoun. Too bad I can't get involved, I've completed all the online FEMA courses for wildland firefighting, just need to do the practical stuff for full certification. But I will be joining a volunteer fire company and hope to be in the summer fire academy. Did a ride along last night.
