Hmmm FIPS not accurate.... that's interesting. Per the FIPS documentation used the county numbering is accurate. Have not looked at the RIDs in use to see if they use county numbering in them recently, so can't comment on that.
And it may very well be. I've used MSWIN for a few years now, with access to agency talkgroups from all around the state. I've yet to see anything labelled, whether in the radio itself or crawling through the CPS software, with these FIPS codes. I've not yet had a radio ID that matched up either, be it a State or County agency radio.

Maybe these were originally (or still are) in an internal MSWIN tech database for reference but they do not reflect the reality of what I and countless others use daily.

65076 has ID'd as Range Control many times, I've only heard small arms range traffic (9mm and 5.56 ammo) but I haven't gotten enough to verify it's at Stennis...yet.
An aside that I did not realize until literally now. 65076 has been seen on the Stennis, Kiln and Port Bienville sites many times. I was at Camp Shelby all day on Thursday and it never appeared on either site there, over the course of 9 hours.

I picked up a new talkgroup today. It is 49300. It lines up with possibility being in Yazoo County. Does anyone know who it may be?
