A few items of note.
The 2nd Copiah County (Allen) and Bay Springs towers are now listed as constructed in ASR database so hopefully they are being loaded out and brought online in the next few weeks.

Those sites were granted AFTER the sites in Vicksburg (2 sites) and Port Gibson so there's a good chance those sites are outfitted and active if not now then very soon.

So anyone around those areas that are able you may want to start searching the 769-775 MHz range for any new activity. Look forward to seeing your findings. :)

Interesting.... I will have to ask Mike about that. If you can check all the CC's around your area and tell us what sites your logging, it may have been a small error he made while he was up there logging and cataloging sites. Got to ge that fixed lol.

I just read the Columbia site and it does say that the Foxworth Control channel is correct at 773.81875

I can not pick up foxworth because of Mulberry, but they may both have the same freqs

OK to get 113 without 107 jamming you, youd have to be on the 113 side and closer to it, or further north, or.. umm west?

But this is the first time I have seen this without it being a simulcast thing.. Are Mulberry and Foxworth in same general area?? They may indeed be simulcast sites.

Willing to bet that mulberry and foxworth are simulcasting, as are the other two you mention. Just monitor one othe pair. Whichever comes in strongest at the time.

Made stop off in Vicksburg this weekend. Neither Warren Co. site even constructed. Same story for the Port Gibson site. Also if the Allen site is constructed, it's still off-line.

MSWIN update

The Union Church site is listing 203 (Hazlehurst MDOT) as a neighbor, that was about the only encouraging news. Will keep advised. Ran Pro96com on several already active sites, SOS

TY Hugh.. The Allen, PG, and Vicksburg sites should all come online together in that zone. that will complete the western to central coverage. Then hopefully they can get the Eastern zone to Meridian done. According to records the Allen site should be built.. Should be visible from the highway from Union Church to Hazelhurst...
I think anyway as tall as these are.

Nice to hear from you hugh. I wouldn't be surprised if those western sites aren't all caught up in the FEMA site approval black hole. Also those are state owned sites and we all know no gubment agency is known for it's efficiency. :(

Like it was said before the tower near Allen is listed as constructed in the ASR database. That only means the tower is standing of course and has nothing at all to do with it's operational status. When it does go live it should show up as a neighbor to Union Church for sure maybe even taking the place of 203.

Yea, it's been pretty dull listening over this way. For some reason, they discontinued the wide area traffic that had been prevalent when all the Natchez area sites first went on line. Now it's total silence. Hopefully that'll change soon.

February metting minutes are posted.

Official name change for what we've been tentatively calling the Allen site. From the notes it is Bowerton and it is complete. This is the first tower in P2B. The tower at Lake was entered as constructed in the ASR database as of 3/3/10.
