Bowerton site is indeed standing. Based on past experience and observations, still several weeks before it will be fixed for broadcasting.

Tower is one the more simple designs of the one's I've observed over this way. Probably one of the shortest as well. Not sure what the elevation in that area is, however. Might explain why it's so short compared to some of the others.

The Allen/Bowerton region is well suited elevation wise. Mainly gently rolling small to medium sized hills and the flood plain surrounding the Bayou Pierre River. The terrain is nowhere near as tough as the areas in Jefferson/Wilkinson/Adams/Franklin counties, or the region near Warren/Claiborne/Southern Yazoo. But the toughest terrain will be the NE corner of the state near the AL/MS/TN line. There is some truly challenging rocky "miniature" mountainous terrain there. The easieast for them terrain wise is the Pearl River basin, and the "Delta".

Several new talk groups to note:
13200 affiliated with tower 133
21101 affiliated with tower 133
21102 affiliated with tower 128

No voice traffic to report, simply just the TGID's and their tower affiliation, will keep advised

The tower near Walnut Grove was entered as constructed today. :)

Thought Doloroso would be the dominant tower along the Mighty Mississippi but it looks Natchez north will take the honors.....that sucker covers all of Adams Co., all along the Natchez Trace, and most of Jefferson Co., the coverage is really phenomenal
