Incidently, while 213 is showing as a neighbor to site 208, it is not transmitting any data and didn't even generate a site report using Pro96Com. Obviously still got some work to do on that site. Don't quite know what the problem is there...............

Cool, so most certainly Sillers is 213. I never did think it was designed to stay at 145. Hopefully now that the SR1 platform stuff is done they will be able to finish up at the Sillers building. Funny thing is though 145 has yet to show up as a neighbor for 144. Go figure. Maybe it never will. Who knows.

Oh I got a couple of hits on the AirCare (22301) group myself this afternoon. :)

at 14:55 today on tkgrp 13583 I was listening to a couple MSG guys talking and one said to the other "you know a lot of people are listening to this net." (imagine that heh heh) and then he said something about a gay sergeant and then said so "for now on you'll continue to go by the callsign ADMIRAL AKBAR." And the guy acknowledges saying roger, ADMIRAL AKBAR OUT.

I just busted out laughing when I heard that. I'm sure it's in the feed archives just go to jackson county's feed and select the archive for today between 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm to hear it.

LOL, yeah those guys have a little fun with each other from time to time. I've caught a few similar comic relief moments.

WOW some crazy skip/ducting going on right now for me. Sandy Hook and Fountainbleau are canceling each other out. (same CC) and I'm currently scanning sites 103, 104, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, 123, and 144 all on a Diamond discone antenna.

EDIT: Add 102 to the list now.
EDIT2: WOOHOO Site 145 now :D

Well I think I've broke a personal best record tonight.

Tylertown SE and Collins West both pegged at 99% decoding at 100 miles. :D (on the discone to boot)

Also 105, 107, 110, 111, 114, 115, 123, AND 236 (on yagi at 118 miles)

They've had the immediate Jackson area covered for sometime. Coverage is also available to the east and south of Jackson. However, if you're inquiring as to 100 percent coverage in the Troop C region, definitely not and far from it. The weakest area in Troop C is the west central (Vicksburg to Port Gibson) areas. Still a lot of work to do in those areas. But if travelling to the region, you can definitely get a little MSWIN action in the Jackson area....Lol

Vicksburg, Port Gibson areas

Incidentally, was in the Vicksburg and Port Gibson areas Thursday and there is absolutely no site prep work being done in those parts:mad:

I'm starting to get a feeling those western sites are going to end up dragging up the rear. Similar to the last few sites in P1. The Yazoo tornado and the oil spill disaster have likely had some negative impact on progress too I imagine.

Jackson proper has been covered for right at a year now, give or take a few days. All the P2A sites have been in wide area trunking for many months now too.

Awesome, thanks a ton for those marvin. Just so you know 213 is the Sillers Building in Jackson now. The 145 site gear is now out in the Gulf of Mexico. My previous educated guesses to the site numbers around that area ended up being off by one. They've been corrected in the DB though.

Updating Pro96com from the DB doesn't always seem to work as expected either. It won't always update names of sites and you either have to do it manually or just move or delete the system.ini file and download it again.
