Hi is there any new talk groups or any new scanner related news for LINCOLN co. Thanks

Here is latest I know for Lincoln Co. LCSO is using the VHF, and MSWIN, LCEOC is still VHF, with all Fire including BFD on that set of repeaters. BPD is mainly VHF again but does still have the UHF radios. KDMC is MSWIN for ops but also has VHF for interop with LCEOC, FCEOC, JCEOC, and Copiah.

Adams County and Natchez may be moving to MSWIN later this year or early 2017. They are planning to consolidate dispatching into one center and hopefully replace the current trunking system.

Desoto County has starting transitioning over to MSWIN. Olive Branch PD, Fire, and Desoto Sherif are all using MSWIN now. Unfortunately the Olive Branch officers are using encryption but dispatch is in the clear. So far the SO is running in the open.

UMPD is DMR and is staying DMR. OPD s going to be mostly encrypted no matter if FDMA or TDMA. OFD and DPW should be clear. Switchover should be by fall.

You sure UPD is dmr? As far as I can tell they are analog with MDC.

Anyone have any news in regards to Desoto County? The SO and city of Olive Branch were simulcast on MSWIN but no longer appear to be using it.
