So, who wants to conspire regarding identifying unknown MSWIN talkgroups here on the Coast? I've been running Pro96Com on site 1-17 (Harrison County) on and off for about 2 months now and have compiled about 230 talkgroups, 95 of which are unidentified, save for those which known radios affiliate to. Even then, the best I can do is a guess.

My biggest issue (and thus to request to share info) comes from the fact I have poor audio decode on the system due to living in one of the coverage gap areas (east end of Gulfport along Pass Road) and the recent addition of a C-Spire/AT&T site 577 feet away from me. In fact, I have to use a yagi aimed at site 1-17 just to get a 65-85% decode rate from the control channel. My work portable usually tries to affiliate with 1-44 if I'm inside looking out an east-facing window, and outside it usually blanks out and declares itself out of range.

Send me a PM if you want.

Invite the MWCC big wigs to your house and have them use MSWIN HT's ONLY to communicate whilst there. Then let them take that info back to Jackson. lol.

Well, I've had more than one command-level person from my agency over, as well as a few from other agencies, and all were unimpressed when I demonstrated the lack of signal...but I doubt any of them care and none are members of the Commission.

I have recently begun to receive a TG 62072. I'm pretty sure it is a Pafford EMS Channel, but where? They are dispatching medical calls, so it shouldn't be a tac or special events channel. Any help appreciated.

If y'all didn’t know, the 155.340 Statewide ER Net "Analog" frequency is to communicate with Ems helicopter that’s doesn’t have the MSWIN system.
And also it a simplex frequency, that’s mean you gotta be in the range for you can listening and transmit on it.

Vicksburg Fire Department handles all Emergency Calls in Warren County. Pafford does medical transport from the hospital to nursing homes and doctor's offices and out of county. AMR covers Hinds, Simpson, Smith. and Claiborne which they share with ASAP which covers Copiah. Pafford covers Yazoo, Rankin and Madison.
