That must have been done since Saturday then...LOL...cause Saturday there were a grand total of TWO in local trunking. Jackson and Hazlehurst.

I was about done writing a report on my findings from P2 Sunday and then lost everything I'd written in a browser crash. So that pretty much ticked me off for the week.

I'll write it all up again over the next few days. (maybe)

In a nutshell most sites were in various stages of construction. None of them that I could get too had locks on the gates yet, or hazard placards posted, and one didn't even have a fence built yet.

Couldn't get close enough to the site at the new MEMA HQ to see anything construction wise but it was NOT xmitting on the trunking side of things for sure.

Just to clarify all the towers ARE built, Just various things like rolls of wire at the base of towers left to pull into the shed and terminate, one site didn't have any of the generator or propane tank tie-ins done. Lots of small stuff like that.

Jeanette will be 138

No doubt Pinckneyville will be 125.
even though it is still off-line, Pro96Com is listing 125 as shared with Doloroso and Woodville and maybe Gloster. However, 125 is not shared with either of the active Adams Co. sites but 138 (even tho off-line) will be shared w/both Adams sites. That pretty much settles it. That rule of thumb has played out on all of the previous off-line sites, but now active sites.

Alllllrightttyyyy then. :) So give it a few days and hopefully all but the MHP tower will be finally done! Good work Hugh! And nicely done Mike... you learn fast.... Site Nieghbors will be changing once all MW linkage and system links are up... Expect a few changes once the whole SW MS corner is WAT.

P1-P2 Nieghboring.... Once all the closest P2's are all up and online WAT, also expect a few of them listing as nieghbors to the top P1 sites.... Complete affiliatons as nieghbors won't be permanent till after that.

check the HCRRS p25 TRS on the database (sooon to be TXNET ) saw a whole lot of inter op groups some marked Mississippi

so looks like MWIN will be linked to TXNET (AKA HCRRS) during Hurracanes.

Just a little advice (warning? lol)

Been playing with UniTrunker's P25 decoding some since Rick has recently started pushing out some updates and it's got some kinks to yet be worked out and can give some false info. So I wouldn't use it for official info at the moment.

On that note though it would be a good time to try it out and get those bugs found and reported in the Trunking Control Channel Decoding Forums so Rick can squash them.

We have a good accurate base of information to put it to the test with and help Rick make his program the best it can be.

Scanning MWIN!

Here is a lil tidbit of info.... Beware of false image mirrors from multiple sites... Be aware that all fregs will fall within the licensed ranges. For those near the LA borders, you may also get interesting mirrors etc off the LWIN sites... Please reverify your findings carefully. After November traffic will begin to slowly increase in P1... Be watching for new TG's, and listen diligently to any traffic to verify usage... Logging tg's with Pro96Com is a useful tool, for guaging the amount of traffic on an site, but you will need to monitor and listen to traffic to accurately ID the tg's... Plese submit new found ones to the MWIN TG thread, and once you positively ID it submit the info using the submit buttons on the MWIN DB page. TY!
