The freqs are listed, I just need to change the name to Vicksburg. It was apparently moved there to provide additional coverage for storm assistance etc...

Explains why I'm getting excellent signal from that site but nothing from other hides country sites. On the ball as always! Thanks.

Considering any damage to any MSWIN and other COM Towers. Had ony a few problems the signal along my route through the area to Jackson. then from Jackson to here in The Batesville,MS

I am staying at the Hampton Inn, I will recording the traffic here and along route home on I-55

I will try to give report after I get home.

I've been picking up transmission on MSWIN Maintenance, TGID 14 as what appears to be Indianola PD. All locations they've given have come up within the city limits. Could TGID 14 be a temporary until Indianola is assigned a TGID?

Any body have know why the Ms.MHP UNITS Troop C is no longer Transmitting seemed to stop completely in June 2017
or any idea what type radio system they using.

If anyone listens to Jackson PD and Hinds SO what tower are you getting them on? I can get them on ETV Raymond. Not on Hinds County Simulcast 1 or 2 or Jackson or Utica towers. Any information you have will help.

When I am in downtown Jackson, I have Jackson and Ridgeland sites going and don't have any problems picking them up. I turned off the Hinds Co Sim sites. Never picked up anything.

Thanks for the reply. I guess i am too far to pickup the Jackson tower. One of the simulcast covers my location but not talking on them yet so must not have switched to the simulcast sites.

Madison County Sheriff has moved to the NXDN radio network and can only be heard on that type of radio system.. Like a Whistler TRx - 1 and 2 with an update...

Which scanner do you have? It appears that most, if not all, MHP has switched over to phase 2 P25 from phase 1 P25. So if your scanner only receives phase 1, that's why you're not still hearing them.

ALL of ZONE 1 is adding 2 new freqs to each site, and NEW SITE coming to Byhalia. And YES MHP is or has switched to TDMA usage, with rest of State Agencies switching soon. Everyone is encouraged to begin using TDMA, ASAP, with EVERYONE expected to be using it by 2020 per MWCC. This has been coming for years, and time has come to bump movement along.
