Can anyone please clarify if there is still any FDMA (Phase 1) activity going on in Rankin or Madison Counties on any TG’s? I know Hinds county is fully TDMA. Also Rankin County Sheriffs TG’s are all encrypted obviously, but why is dispatch 2 labeled as clear? When it’s encrypted. Thanks.
Submit a correction. Only way the admins will get any idea to make a change. I was about the only admin that bothered cruising the forums, I am out of that game so if you post here, good luck getting answers other than what I just gave you. ALL FDMA is supposed to be GONE by now, except for MEMA and special event requests per MWCC. There are still a few delays in radio updates due to COVID but its all supposed to be TDMA real soon. The next big upgrades for all P25 Phase II systems is in the works... TDMA Control CH.... And once that pops, thats all for monitoring until someone makes a firmware update to handle it. (Or you run SDR's and UT etc...) *See multiple new systems now coming online with TDMA CC's...*

Do the new systems coming online with the TDMA CC’s mean you’re unable to listen to MSWIN on a phase 2 device such as a Unication G4 like I’m using? Just curious never heard of this. Thanks Milf.

Answered my own question. Found an example of a phase 2 TDMA CC System similar to MSWIN but with TDMA Control Channels. Unable to monitor for now. Hopefully MSWIN doesn’t do this anytime soon or we’re all SOL. Here’s the example phase 2 system I found. Says in the misc information that any Phase 2 system with TDMA CC’s is unable to be monitored.

Anyone know or heard of MSWIN is doing this same thing anytime soon? ….Hopefully not

I have heard another new one. It is 62021. Does anybody know who it is? It appears to be a utility right of way clearing crew.
I am hearing TG 62021 on the Philadelphia South tower. Sounds like a utility company...I am thinking EMEPA, but unsure of the county they are in. I will continue trying to track this one down. It is definitely not a tribal talkgroup.

Does anyone know what tower the MS State Hospital (Whitfield) are using their TG on? I have not heard them at all on the Rankin County Simulcast Site. Thanks

I am hearing TG 35845 and 60125 in/around Hancock County (on Kiln tower). Didn't have RF data info pulling at the time for additional info. Seems to be random ragchew conversation.

Anybody know or heard and talk groups regarding the MS Department of Corrections (MDOC)? I don’t believe their EDACS system is active anymore. I’m not sure why it’s still listed under Rankin County’s trunked systems. I could be wrong but surely they’ve gone MSWIN by now. And besides the EDACS system they previously used, the license is about to expire soon. Thanks!

Any idea who 3-44 is? It was giving me 770.93125 as the CC which comes back to many sites in extreme north MS. FCC database isn't showing anything.

Anybody know what TG’s
22950
22951
22952
22953
are for, I’ve seen previous posts with no answers. These TG’s are really active on the rankin county towers.
Also is Whitfield’s only TG 22350 or do they have another? I do not the hear Whitfield TG whatsoever on the rankin Towers.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
