Highland Falls PD and Monroe PD both cut over to the new system yesterday afternoon.

Woodbury EMS
Note that Woodbury EMS has only had their rigs and fly cars equipped with CoRNet mobile radios just for the purposes of communicating with Orange 9-1-1, when needed, and on other talkgroups, as directed by Orange 9-1-1. They have no intention of migrating to CoRNet and will remain on their legacy VHF-high band system for paging and operations and their legacy UHF system for external (FD, Thruway Authority, Woodbury Common, etc.) and on-site communications.

I guess I should clarify that any agencies I've listed in this thread may not being 100% all-in on the county system, however they are using it in some capacity. Some have chosen to completely cut over from their legacy systems, others are using the county system only as necessary (e.g. FD/EMS calling out with the county).

(edited original post because meh)

The system programming is definitely well ahead of the install's and issuing of portables. There are agencies in the database that haven't even been prewired yet.

City of Newburgh PD has come to life.

Is there any chance GTR you have a list or could share what agencies will be on the P25 system for dispatch?

My interests being in Ringwood anyway, are Greenwood Lake, and Warwick primarily. I see they both have TG’s, but as long as I have been monitoring them, they have been on VHF(although not the greatest signal here).

I can't speak for Warwick however the Greenwood lake police department will be utilizing the new system and the dispatch talkgroup shown in the database.

Tuxedo PD will also be dispatched on response south and have there own tac talk group.

I don't have any secret list. The agencies that have been allocated talkgroups are in the database. Whether or not they actually switch to the P25 system for dispatch remains to be seen in a few instances, I suppose. Note that it is still early in the process, a lot of radios still need to be programmed and installed throughout the county, and so patience is the name of the game.

In the meanwhile, continue to listen to whatever agencies you're interested in on their current resources, and enjoy the surprise if/when they cut over to the P25 system!

Cool beans! On a rare chance I could get Tuxedo from my house on my XTS when I had it.

And also cool for Greenwood Lake!

If Warwick moves too, that’ll be sweet!

They have been very active all day on both cells, TG 22501. I'm hearing them as I type this.

Town of Tuxedo, still on VHF. Heard them just now about 23:46 or so.
Not sure if they are simulcasting or not.

Tuxedo has switched to the trunked system (LE Response South). You heard Tuxedo Park on 155.4225. Tuxedo hasn't used that channel for dispatching in well over a year since they switched to county dispatch. Midnights in the town are covered by the NYSP.

Town of Tuxedo PD (LE Response South, previously VHF MRD)
961 (Base) to 970

Tuxedo Park PD (155.4225)
951 (Base), 952, 955, 957
