Prior to about 2 weeks ago I was hearing OC 911 Priority 04-022 and since then I haven't heard a single thing from it.It's not clear what you're asking, please rephrase the question.
This thread is about the P25 system, not EDACS, which is why your post was unclear.Prior to about 2 weeks ago I was hearing OC 911 Priority 04-022 and since then I haven't heard a single thing from it.
Was hearing them every night.
Looks like that is the last OC channel to migrate off EDACS. Just Dutchess and Ulster TGs now.
What makes you think that MTA, DEC, NYSP, etc. don't already have 700/800 radios? The MTA is on their own 700 MHz P25 system now, the DEC has had dual band VHF/700/800 MHz APX radios for years, same with the SP who are also getting new quad-deck Kenwood/EFJ Viking mobiles. Is 159.135 only going to be active until T/Warwick switches over, or are they going to keep it around for MTA, DEC, NYSP units that don't have 700 MHz radios etc
Do you know if all of the SP cars are getting those, or only the Orange County cars?
Yep, only Town of Newburgh Highway/Rec/Water remains on EDACS. I’m still trying to confirm if COH local gov’t went back to VHF which I suspect due to a change in the license on KET279, but I’m not in the area currently. But yes, EDACS is RIP for public safety in Orange....finally.
COH DPW & Water went back to VHF. There's a repeater in the Village Hall.
