Thank you!! I got the P25RX-II in the mail today. I only had a few hours to play with it before going in to work but it sounds great so far. I will hopefully have more play time this weekend.
It is really good to hear that you are having a good experience so far. Hopefully, you found the latest firmware/software from this morning. It is working really well here. Looking forward to hearing how it does in the TDMA CC mode for you.

..The P25RX product is equivalent of a fine local brewed IPA...
Thank you for the kind comments sir. Personally, I would probably compare it with a competitive bourbon seeking to be as good as it's Kentucky role-models : )

I’m pleased to see that the demand for the RX-II seems to be just as hot. Glad you hung tough and kept plugging away during the early days.

Hard work and dedication always pays off.

Look forward to getting my hands on a RX-II.

How can those interested in purchasing one stay in the loop and keep up to date when you launch the next batch for sale ?

Currently, those of us wanting to purchase must monitor this thread for the next announcement of availability, then go to the website.

I was able to order one last night. @btt mentioned that more would be available by the end of the week, so I just refreshed the order page occasionally, and completed the process when allowed by the order page.

Sorry that I wasn't able to have more ready this weekend. There were unexpected events (unrelated to business) that I have to deal with. I'm making the new receivers available as I am able to assemble, calibrate, and test them. The new design takes more time than the the first one.

Thank you @maus92! I will be shipping your receiver when USPS opens.

What is the site so I can try to get back on the list. I had written about 6 months ago via email. and was told I would be placed on a list, but have heard nothing back.

The original “list” is no longer being used for product availability. You need to check the website frequently to see if you can purchase.

An easy way to check any web site is to use a 'web site monitoring' app. It will check a web page for changes and alert you. I monitor multiple web sites and get alerts on my phone. It is better than manually checking.

Kind of Cool and Creepy, both at the same time!

FYI.. The order page was live for about 10-15 mins at 6:30 pm central tonight. Based on my web alert app change logs.

Can you provide the name of the App
Web Alert.

I run the free version on a Samsung phone. There are other apps and cloud servers that also offer web page change alerts.

I am not a buyer of the RX-II at this time... Still playing with my p25rx rig. Just wanted to suggest an option to help others monitor the web site to order one.

Most be an issue of supply & demand, but I seem to recall the original price being considerable lower.

Indeed, the final price of the original model was $260, and the II lists for $450 (there is a discount code good until year end, but I'm unsure of how much it knocks off the price). $190 is quite a jump, even if the II is 'new and improved', still a tough pill to swallow. That said, it's still $200 cheaper than the SDS200.

EDIT: No hate, obviously the product gets glowing reviews and has generated quite a bit of interest, and as I said it's still quite a bit cheaper than an SDS scanner or a Unication G series pager. Just posting my observations as a potential customer, that's all.

Agreed. Not to be construed as judgemental; just an observation. In the $260 USD range, it was a no-brainer, except for the fact that it was scarce and hard to get. As the price climbs, albeit "new and improved", one must begin to weigh the benefits of P25RX-II vs the extra expediture to just add a second SDS instead. Unlike Uniden or Whistler, which have proven track records, folks don't really know where Blue Tail is heading. Or, how soon after one makes a $450 USD purchase, another "new and improved" model may show up.

I guess my bottom line is at $260 it was worth it, even just for the proverbial "sh*ts & giggles". At it's new price point, at least for me, it's become more of a "hmm, wait & see" proposition. But I give them credit for their technological achievement.
