I have just 24 hours under my belt with this device. The P25RX-II packs a big punch for a small device.

I was surprised with the P25 test functions for signal quality, similar to those found on service monitors. Nice touch Todd.

The receiver functions very well with P25 LSM and far outperforms my x36’s. I have tested VHF, 470, 500, 700 Trunking. It looks good.

There are so many layers of functions that I continue to discover such as a log for emergency alerts. Import of RR TG’s in DSD format worked perfect and sure saved much typing.

A few minor hitches with firmware updates were solved with a few reboots of both device and SW.

Great value here for the price.

I agree with the reviewers above. The P25RX-II is a stellar little receiver that outperforms all other receivers I’ve ever used on listening to P25 transmissions. I’m very pleased with it and it compares favorably to the P25RX but does have more options/expanded coverage/features/tweakability than its predecessor. Overall, a fantastic value and a very unique device with unbeatable support and almost daily firmware updates.
